We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Robles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrea, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
I believe we all want something at one point or another, it is the not giving up on what you believe at your core that allows for you to not give your self an option of failure. Instead focus on what you want and keep motivating your self every time things don’t go the way you want them to go. No one will ever want things for your self more then your self!. Having family and friends that support or give you words of encouragement plays a big factor on your pursuit for success. You have to tune your vision into what you want most and not allow the noice distract you from your goal. Life is full of options and choices you have to remind your self that this is what I want most and this is what i refuse to give up.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a love for art and all things interior design. In 2009, I decided to study Art & Design in hopes of one day starting a career in the field. However, trying to get job in design was difficult during the pre-Instagram era. It wasn’t until I took a leap of faith and quit my job to pursue design full-time that I started feeling truly fulfilled.

Today, I’m proud to be a Latina certified interior designer who packed all her things and moved to Phoenix, Arizona to chase her dreams. I guess it paid off because I’m married to my best friend, Fernando, with whom I have two amazing kids (Emma and Abel).
After years of hard work and planning, what started as an Instagram page resulted in me finally starting House of Robles in 2021. I feel blessed to wake up every day and do what I love, knowing that my fulfillment helps me show up and be more present for my family. Aside from my family, interior design is what brings me the most joy in this life.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are lots of great places to go here in Arizona. So far for me since I’ve moved here from California my favorite places have been Sedona with it’s beautiful views and gorgeous red rock scenery and small shops to eat and drink. Going to south mountain and seeing the City of Phoenix (for free) is also a great way to hang out take some pictures and enjoy the desert views. Some of my favorite restaurants to eat and play has been the Culinary Drop Out, Rustlers Roost, Blanco tacos and Tequila down town, and many more places. I’ve really enjoyed hanging out and watching a Diamond Backs Game while hanging out and bowling at 810 bowling and hearing live music at copper blues, Cobra Arcade has been fun for down town and first Friday down town has been a hit with my friends and family.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would not be where I am without the support of My husband Fernando, My brothers Henry & Christian ;my sisters in law, family, friends and last but not least My parents Leonardo & Norma they saw something in me since I was a little girl and have always supported me in everything I did and encouraged my creativity. I also believe that my grandmother from my dads side has played a big role in my entrepreneurship since my parents have told me Wonderfull stories about her opening a small business when she was very young. Im very Thankful and bless to have everyone in my life along the way.
