We had the good fortune of connecting with Angelika Selix and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angelika, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Making interactions meaningful, and not get into your business for the wrong reasons. Personally, my photography business is my main source of income, but I am still focusing on creating lasting moments for families and others.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
There has definitely been a lot of challenges along the way with my photography. I started out taking pictures when I was only 3 or 4 with a tiny little plastic camera my parents got me. Then from there I had a large interest in classic rock bands, and eventually landed myself a job in photographing them at only 15. I soon moved to Prescott, and had my daughter and that is the exact moment I knew that family photography was for me. Seeing parents faces light up once they see their loved ones captured in time is priceless

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitley take them for a walk down Whiskey Row in Prescott, AZ. Go to all the cute coffee shops, souvenir shops and end it with a picnic on the courthouse square!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my husband, Adam. He has supported me in all ways possible. From me pursing my photography as a full time passion to helping me raise a family, he has been there through it all.
