We had the good fortune of connecting with Antonio Bomar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Antonio, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
My outlook on taking risk is very simple. If you dream it, you can achieve it! Don’t over think things or ides, make it realistic and try. Of course things don’t always go as planned but you learned from it, life’s all about chances.. roll that dice!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a music producer and artist. I just started out with fruity loops 5 from my older brother. I’ve always had an itch for music and occasionally rapped with my friends and listened to music every hour every minute-no joke. Once I got the computer I had no tutorial or technique so I had to dive in face first. I learned to sample from just looping on Sony acid pro and transferring to fruity loops. This was a process but late night and early mornings I mastered it. I really didn’t read any manuals or view tutorials on YouTube I wanted to learn it on my own. I learned throughout the years to find your own style and do things how you like it, it’s your sound… make it known

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would first take them to get a beer at cobra arcade and enjoy some great music by Dj Chris Villa who is a childhood friend with a great track list. Most of my friends are music heads so I definitely will take them to the record store called Double Nickles and go digging for a while. I’m pretty much a home body so that’s my grounds and to be honest I really don’t go out much as well. One thing for sure they will be pretty entertained for sure. I’m one great host.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shout out my son Zayden for always being my right hand man and helping me through this thing called parenthood and being my support system. I’d like to shout out Grip getit for lettitng me record and create magic at his crib. My Mans Eklipze for always having my back and sharing musical brains together and creating some of the best material ever. My Pops for his love for music having me breakdancing and having a groove. My Moms for her vast musical collection and for always believing in my talent and vision. My brother and sister for being an major influence in my everyday life from parenthood to my handling business they’re always one call away. I love them all. I have so many shout outs it’s going to be like a full page, but I appreciate everyone who supported me, bumped my stuff, shared, purchased ect. Your ear means everything to me and i deeply appreciate you listening and vibing with me!
