We had the good fortune of connecting with Audi Ryerson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Audi, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I wanted to create a space that was tailored to each pets individuality and needs. A place that would transform pets lives while always catering to the artists. I wanted a salon that cared about quality over quantity. A place that was safe and clean with knowledgeable and friendly staff. A place that made you feel like family.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a groomer of 24 years, I started bathing dogs at 11 years old in my mother’s salon. I specialize in Asian Fusion grooming. This is a style of grooming that I have been studying and practicing for the past 10 years. Although I can groom all breeds I enjoy the Asian Fusion Style most! This style allows me to step outside of traditional grooming and allows me to express my more creative side. This style is very trendy usually displayed in a shorter body length with dramatic legs that some might say resembles bell bottoms. A cute, and perfectly scissored muzzle, this style definitely will turn heads. I love transforming over pets with this style, they’re so cute afterwards they almost look cartoonish.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I recently moved to Casa Grande and I don’t really go out much anymore but I do enjoy some enchiladas from Mi Amigo Ricardos . I like to spend my free time at home, either working on a house project or soaking up a good movie curled up on the couch with my wife, dogs and pig.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
