We had the good fortune of connecting with Austin Varley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Austin, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
This is a great question because it brings up a very important part of success, which is daily habits. You create success habits in your life, and you will see how your life can change. There are so many I can think of but I will narrow it done to 5. 1. The first habit I would have to say that made a big difference in my life is creating a morning ritual. In the morning do certain things that will help you set up your day and make the most out of it. A lot of people will just wake up and do random things than can have an off day. Once you create a morning ritual, you can be more intentional when you wake up and ready for your day. 2. Start working out. Working out not only benefits your health and energy levels but helps your mindset as well. There will be times you will not want to work out, do legs, finish that last rep, that’s why it’s such a great habit to create because you will feel more energized, feel more confident in your own skin, and creating a strong mindset to do it. 3. Doing something for personal development every day. You can listen to podcasts, watch YouTube, read books, read this magazine, etc. There are so many different avenues to keep learning so you can always be growing yourself. One of my favorite quotes from Jim Rohn is “work hard on a job, you can make a living, work hard on yourself, you’ll make a fortune.” 4. Having a to-do list and knocking it off. A lot of people will have a to-do list but not everyone will actually do it. That’s why it’s great to have a t0-do list and have a target with things that need to get done. Now, something I do to help me on my to-do list is I will time block everything into my schedule. That way at 9am I know exactly what I need to focus on, 2pm, 4pm, and throughout my entire day. Add your to-do list into your schedule so you can focus on the task at hand. 5. The last habit I would say that made a huge difference in my life is a night ritual. Just like the morning ritual but a certain amount of actions that help me reflect on my day, get ready for bed, and then I start planning out my next day before I go to bed, so when I wake up, I am ready, set, to go with my day time blocked. Once you understand that successful people, just created successful habits for themselves, you can change your entire life. Remember though, it takes time to create a habit so if you mess up or miss a day, don’t just let that be the end of it. Restart, take it each day at a time, and stay consistent.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am actually in the process of launching another company which I am very excited about. Last time you guys interviewed me I talk about my main business FitClub Advertising, which is an advertising agency that helps the health and wellness space. Things are going great! We have grown throughout this pandemic, as well as pivoted in key areas to help our clients grow as well. So if you’d like I can always talk about that too. However, I am most excited about is my new business! This has been a project behind the scenes for a while. I did a beta launch during May and June to see how the market was going to respond. The beta launch was a success and a great indicator of what’s to come. We are about to be in prelaunch for October, November, and December then officially launching in January of 2021. The new company is called ‘Live Your Lifestyle’ which is an online university that teaches you how to turn your lifestyle into an income, an asset, and something that will pay you for life. Throughout my journey, I have been blessed to have worked with so many different industries, with different services, and truly understanding the digital age we live in. The internet, social media, and the smartphone we all hold in our hands have completely changed the world in so many ways. There are 9-year-old millionaires and 20-year-old billionaires. It’s a new world. At Live Your Lifestyle, we are teaching our students the key principles they need to know to turn their lifestyle into an income. Whether you love to snowboard, create art, make websites, talk with friends, make videos, and the list goes on, we can monetize it. I could go on for hours and hours about LYL with all of the things we are doing, but we will have to save that for another time. However, there are 5 key areas that make us very different in the marketplace. 1. You are not just buying courses, you are buying mentorship and coaching. When you are a student, you will follow the classes and programs just like anything else, however, with us, you will have homework that will need to be sent in. This homework will be like to create your logo, what’s your brand image, finish your website, set up your social media accounts, etc. The things they need to do to start building their own online business. 2. We are partnering with non-profits every single month to help spread awareness, as well as raise money for them. With our students, we encourage them to donate monthly to causes they believe in. As an incentive to make it normal for people to donate, we are matching their donation up to $20/month so we can make a big difference together. 3. We are partnering with businesses every single month as well to give our audience exclusives deals and discounts on things they are already buying, as well as things they will need for their new lifestyle business. One of the hard things about being a beginning entrepreneur is you don’t have a network. Well no worries, you can use ours! 4. We have TOO MUCH content. Typically when you buy a coaching program, you will only get access to one program. With us, we give you access to everything because everyone’s lifestyle business is going to be different. All built on the same key principles but will be executed differently. So with that, we have content that ranges from Facebook Deep Dive, to website design, to email marketing, to credit, to taxes, to mindset, and the list goes on. However, a #LYL Student has access to everything. 5. You will be assigned an accountability coach that you can text, call, and chat with to get your questions answered. We all need a real mentor that will help us and we can ask questions to. That’s why part of our program is where you have someone you can ask questions to, get access to live classes throughout the week, and make sure you have everything you need to live your lifestyle. There are still so many more things about this company and this movement that I am excited about, but again that could be hours. Live Your Lifestyle is a movement to help people live free and understand the blessing we have because of the phones at our fingertips. Be on the lookout for LYL because we are opening prelaunch soon and doing FREE 5-Day challenges all around the world helping people understand the key principles to turn your lifestyle into an income.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My itinerary might be a little different than the rest but I will mention a few key things. First, throughout the trip, I would make sure to be connecting them with other local entrepreneurs in the area that are killing. Guys such as Cody Sperber, John Mallot, Josh Snow, Cody Alt, and the list goes on. We would definitely be connecting with a lot of the guys in my circle at their nice houses and enjoying a good mastermind. Then we would have to make a trip up to Sedona and Prescott. I love those spots. The red mountains and the hiking trails in Sedona are out of this world. Plus every time I bring someone up there, they always feel different coming back, in a good way. Then go to Prescott, maybe right outside the outer rim to show them the view. Depending on when they came in, we could do a trip to Havasupai falls because that place is absolutely gorgeous! Once we would be done with checking out those areas and some of my favorite restaurants there, then I would take them to a few different spots around the Phoenix valley. Obviously we will have to hike Camelback mountain. It’s just iconic and honestly a great hike as well. (hopefully, it’s not 120 out, otherwise, you can knock this one off.). If it’s one of my friends on the east coast, then I have to take them to In-N-Out. I have traveled around the world and even paid $4o for a burger before but nothing beats In-N-Out, I am definitely a loyal fan. Then another one of my spots I like is the Phoenician. Go to the J&G Steakhouse to enjoy a nice dinner and a classic local beer. If you have not been there yet, go, it’s beautiful, good food, and a great view. Then one of the days we would go to one of the lakes, possibly lake Pleasant to go out on the boat. Enjoy wakeboarding, and then trying to knock them on their butt with the tube. After that, relax, hangout, and grab a couple of beers at a few different bars around town. Bitters & Twisted is good, there are a few under ‘speakeasies’ in town, or at least that’s the theme of the bar. Then enjoy watching some football.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Oh man, too many people and things to shoutout honestly. There are plenty of people I could shoutout because of their content online, their books I’ve read, or the certain courses I have bought but if I had to, I will narrow it down to three. The first being Jim Rohn, an old school philosopher but still to this day one of my favorites. For anyone that doesn’t know, this is Tony Robbins mentor. Great guy, has a lot of great videos and trainings on YouTube to help you out. The next would be Peter Voogd. This was my first personal mentor and friend now. His books are amazing, his content keeps me going, and his mixtapes on basically every music platform are a game-changer. There are nothing like what’s out in the marketplace. They keep me motivated and give me perspective shifts every single time I listen to them. Thanks again for everything Peter! The last would be Billy Gene. This guy completely changed my advertising agency and the way I even look at social media advertising. I use to play the long-term game of building up a presence and an audience, which I still believe in. However, Billy showed me the power of lead generating ads and it’s like a light-bulb went off in my head. Definitely a huge shoutout to Billy for changing the game for me as well. Too many other ones to mention but those 3 definitely have made a huge impact on my life and in my business. Remember guys, you are one perspective shift away from completely changing your life!
