Meet Ben Kesington | Licensed Arizona Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ben Kesington and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ben, why did you pursue a creative career?
The Reason why I chose Real Estate was because of the freedom. Working a 9 to 5 job was limiting my time with my family and also limiting my time to be creative. I felt locked down working 8 hours of the day for someone else when I knew I could be working with no limits doing what I love on a day to day basis as a passion. I had a lengthy career in Mortgage banking and sales before I took the path of Entrepreneurship by obtaining my Real Estate License and started my own Real Estate Business as I now help serve the public in purchasing, selling and investing in real estate. I love to help, guide and educate on the benefits of home ownership, building equity and generational wealth. I share my experiences on my YouTube Channel by highlighting the Arizona Real Estate market, up and coming master planned communities and sub divisions, neighborhood tours and also highlighting lots of fun outdoor activities, dining and entertainment that their is to offer in the great state of Arizona. My ultimate goal is to help inspire the next generation of aspiring Entrepreneurs in any way that I can through mentorship, guidance and being a living example.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a current home owner and real estate investor while also running my own real estate business, I also have a background in Mortgage and lending and my experience as a buyer on the market when I was not Realtor I saw first hand how other Realtors failed on the basic levels of communication, dignity and respect. This fueled my passion to pursue a career in Real Estate because I did not want others to experience the same let downs that I had when working with a Realtor. I am proud and excited that I can help others achieve home ownership, I love the feeling of handing over a set of keys to a family that will make everlasting memories in their new dream homes, I standout by being myself and nobody else, I give the buyer or seller a fun and exciting less stressful real estate transaction experience by going above and beyond the normal expectations and this is truly satisfying. I run a Real Estate business as a Realtor and i’m brokered by EXP Realty, the worlds only cloud brokerage. The lessons I have learned along the way are to chase your dreams and do not worry or care about what others think about you when it comes to negativity, envy or jealousy. The book that changed my life was “Rich Dad Poor Dad” By Robert T. Kiyosaki, this book is what really put me on the path to entrepreneurship. It was not easy to get here, I had to change my mindset and change my circle to get to where I am now. I let go of toxic friendships and negative influences and really started to focus on my goals, my family and my faith, this is what got me to where I am now and will continue to go in the future. I want the world to know that I am a fun down to earth Real Estate agent here in Arizona that anyone can relate to. I am licensed in the Phoenix area and also the Tucson area if you are looking to buy, sell or invest in real estate in those areas. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would start off on a Monday In Tucson, AZ at the Sonora Desert Museum then for dinner we would have to head to the Catalina Foothills to enjoy a nice meal at the Wild Garlic Grill Just North of Tucson. The next day which would be Tuesday we would head to Queen Creek, AZ for breakfast at the Olive mill and take a tour and after we would then head to the open desert of Apache Junction to do some off-roading on ATV’s and Dirt Bikes. For Some good food after we would then head to Nello’s for some good pasta and Pizza in Mesa, AZ. On Wednesday we would then head to Downtown Gilbert for some Breakfast at snooze Cafe and then off to Old Town Scottsdale for some walking and shopping. To cap off the night I would then take my guest to top Golf for some good old fun and competition. For Thursday We would head to Tempe Town lake for some early Kayaking and then some fun on university ave for the middle of the day and then head to downtown Phoenix to cap the night off at Chase Field for a fun time watching the MLB’s Arizona Diamondbacks. Friday We will take a road Trip up north and take a scenic drive through Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon by making Brief stops at Uptown Sedona and Slide Rock State Park. Before the day is over we will head to Downtown Flagstaff for a night on the town and check into Hotel Monte Vista. For Saturday we will be up Bright and early to head up to the Grand Canyon for a tour and hike for the entire day. Sunday our final day we would head to Bearizona for a drive through tour of the park and head back to Phoenix to close out the day.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shoutout my parents for their guidance and ecouragement that they showed me throughout my life. They taught me to work hard at a very young age and also prepared me for the real world. They instilled the teachings of Jesus Christ in me through our Christian Faith on how to love and treat everyone with respect and kindness.
