Meet Bethany Smith | Owner and Lead Coordinator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bethany Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bethany, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I come from a family of entrepreneurs, but I had never really envisioned myself owning my own business before. I knew that if I went that route, I would have endless support, but if I chose a different path and worked for someone else, they would support me in those endeavors also. It wasn’t until I spent three years in the corporate world that I realized I didn’t want to do that the rest of my life. I knew what my God-given strengths and talents were, and they weren’t being put to good use in my jobs, so I decided to take the leap and start my own business in something I’m passionate about. It definitely took a few years to grow to a place that I could quit those other jobs and pursue my business full time, but here we are. I’m still learning, but that’s what makes it so rewarding.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Pink Bubbly Events is an event coordination team that specializes in wedding planning and day-of wedding coordination. We operate in southern California and Arizona, but will gladly travel anywhere in the world to help bring your wedding vision to life. I love people and creating relationships, so I truly strive to create meaningful relationships with all my couples. They are entrusting Pink Bubbly Events with a very important day in their lives, and after all the planning, it really does feel like I’m witnessing friends get married. Pink Bubbly Events has grown a lot in a short amount of time, and that’s due to hard work, lots of prayer, and building trust with clients and vendors. I’m very authentic and transparent in how I conduct my business, and I hope that shines through when inquiring with us.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The list is loooong. I have been very fortunate to have met and know very supportive and kind individuals over the last few years that have given me nothing but encouragement and sound advice. My dear friend, Shawnta, deserves an actual shoutout, as she took me under her wing and taught me valuable lessons in owning my own coordination business. She’s been someone I can call and ask questions to without judgement.
