We had the good fortune of connecting with Beya Salene and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Beya, how do you think about risk?
In the beauty industry, an artist’s success is based on their individual creativity and unique style. To get noticed, you’ve got to be out of the box and take risk to try new things. Every time I and other artist post our work, there’s always the knowledge that not everybody will like it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What I’m working toward is getting into editorial makeup. But, I also do nails and with the progress I’ve made in the short time that I’ve been working on both, I see alot of potential and am excited to see what’s to come in the future.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My biggest inspirations are niohuru_nyc , naezrahlooks, and deemakeupart.
