Meet Blue Amnesia | Multi-faceted Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Blue Amnesia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Blue Amnesia, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
My legacy lives through my kids, but if I were to leave one message for the rest of the world it would be: “K.O.R., which is Kindness Over Righteousness”. It just means that regardless of any differences, there’s an opportunity to put kindness as a priority. That goes for yourself, too. I think the ultimate goal behind most of what I do is teaching people to be kind to themselves.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think many entrepreneurs relate to thriving most when they are doing multiple things, and that’s exactly how I am. I’m a performer, show producer, confidence coach, published model, intimacy coach, writer and I’ve done my fair share of dabbling in sales.
My entire goal behind every aspect of what I do is to be a muse, or an inspiration for people to love themselves with pure authentic joy! Ive always been told that I was a safe space for countless people throughout my life to just be 100% authentically themselves and now I’ve found a way to share that safe space with the community.
There have always been enormous challenges, and I forsee there continuing to be enormous challenges in what I do, ESPECIALLY with what I do. I’ve had to learn an overwhelming amount of resilience and have had some of my biggest haters be those who were supposed to support me most! Sometimes people have a difficult time with me feeling so comfortable in my own presence because they aren’t comfortable enough with themselves to be inspired by it. Sometimes the very thing that people need me for, is the very thing that repulse them about me and that’s quite the challenge when it’s the basis of your entire business.
I just want to break the taboo around talking about sexual health and help people live more abundant and confident lives. I want them to choose to be kind to themselves and embrace life boldly! I want to start a movement where people choose Kindness Over Righteousness!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am absolutely in love with the quaint little art village of Tubac. It’s literally been rainbows and butterflies every time I’ve gone to visit! The entire village is art galleries and pottery or restaurants with their own personal touch on the town. You can find any medium of art and every corner seems to be a beautiful backdrop for photography! There’s also such cultural and historical significance as it is the initial location of the Pima Revolt of 1751. With the Presidio, St Ann’s Church, the countless art galleries and the Mission, there’s plenty to indulge other art hearts like me. My favorite place to visit would be the heavenly bakery “La Catedral” in Rio Rico, though! It might be unassuming due to the dirt lot and blackened sign, but it holds unspeakable delights inside! There’s also a homemade ice cream shop next door! If you’re looking for more savory, then I’d suggest going to visit Catalina Craft Pizza in Catalina. Grattitude Productions puts on the most fun shows and the entire menu is absolutely delicious! Horseback riding at Double R Ranch has been one of my favorites as well. They offer beautiful tours near sacred lands and It’s close to Tombstone where you can spend the entire day in an old Western Town. To relax and wind down, I would suggest visiting Omni Spa & Resort. Their entire staff there is delightful and the services are lush! The chef at Bob’s Steak House is a master at their craft and the wine is extraordinary!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are countless people who have inspired me, helped me grow and supported me through my journey. Miss Miranda Glamour was who gave me my first stage to perform on. Grattitude Productions has also been a huge resource for collaborating here in Arizona, the Las Vegas comedy scene and burlesque troupes have been so encouraging and educational also. Then, of course, my instructors and coaches who have given me the logistical knowledge and resources. But mainly my sponsors, photographers and every individual who invests in me!
But to name a few of those special people who have been monumental characters in my story, I have to start with Andrew Burnette & “The Comedy Outsider”. He was an enormous part of my entire career. Spending many many sleepless nights helping me build my brand from scratch; he taught me such an abundance. From the technical aspects of comedy and building websites or just dealing with listening to a grueling 30+ hours of the same song while I relentlessly try to figure out the choreography, or even just not suing me over the excess glitter that I’m sure he’s still finding 2 years later! He has definitely been the whisper in my ear saying that I deserve to achieve success!
Then there is Marina Mars!! She has been so supportive and encouraging through absolutely everything that I do. She has been such a wonderful friend, collaboration partner, mentor, and all around a spectacular lil alien! Her “Martian Movers” movement & “Flow” series has been a major inspiration to me understanding how to move forward with my business and personal goals. She has become such an asset in all things “success”. She is one who inspires through action and she fully embraces the message I’m trying to share with the world.
