We had the good fortune of connecting with Brent H. Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brent H., we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risks is one of the most important things you can do to advance your lifestyle and career goals. My father always taught me to be fearless, and I approached every goal & obstacle in my life with that mindset. I sacrificed a lot of free time, sleep, and social events to better my writing. Taking risks has set me apart from many other writers, yet I’m never satisfied and I have much more books and screenplays to put out there to the world. Working hard is good, but working smart is greater.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
First, I’d like to say that I respect every writer in the storytelling industry because the world has no idea what we all go through. I believe what sets me apart from others is my consistency. I always want to gift my readers with the stories I come up with in a rapid manner. I don’t have to do that, but I am always writing so that’s just how I operate. It was not easy to get to where I am today. I can write all the stories in the world, but without the support from my family and keeping my faith in God strong I would not be where I am today. I overcame many challenges by just staying focused on the end goal, no one would stop in the middle of fire so you have to keep going no matter what.
The main lesson I have learned along the way is that your mindset will either make you or destroy you. Even if the world is throwing knives at you, you can dodge each one with a strong, positive mindset.
I would like the world to know that I have many stories to gift them, and I hope each story of mine keeps them highly entertained!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The best place to visit in the beautiful state of Arizona is Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona. Also, Sedona, Arizona. The rocks are breathtaking and I try to make a couple trips up there to both places with close friends and family. If you love nature like I do, I just gave you two of the most amazing places in the world.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my parents, Frank & Kim Robinson. Also, my novel, The Nobody’s.
