We had the good fortune of connecting with Bridgette Baldwin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bridgette, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
My balance has definitely changed since becoming a mother and a small business owner. I used to work 7 days a week but now I have learned to lean on my team members to take over events, and give myself free time for myself and my family. This in turn makes me more productive when I do work because I have the opportunity to have a clear mindset!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think what sets my business apart is the focus on the customer. We love to make sure that our clients not only feel like they get their money’s worth, but that we went above and beyond for them and their guests to make it a memorable day.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely visit The Vig Fillmore for Locals Only (Sunday Brunch), and then just roam around Downtown Chandler. There are so many new spots popping up and places to eat and drink, that it is always a good time
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out my family and my Bees! The women on my team are phenomenal and they keep me on my toes. My vision is always there, but my execution is not always the best and that is where they step in. They pick up and excel in areas that may not be my best attributes and they represent my brand the way I would, without me being in the building. I also want to shout out my family for always being there to help with my daughter when events run late or get booked last minute. We were able to build an amazing clientele and without my family it would never be possible.
