We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittney Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittney, what makes you happy? Why?
At this current stage of my life, I am happy serving God, raising my son, spending time with my family, and drinking coffee. Why? Two of them saved my life and the other helps me daily LOL!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a certified life coach that specializes in inner healing, the owner of Heart2heal Coaching, and a journal designer. I became a life coach after I went on a personal journey to heal my inner wounds. After that journey, I felt a strong call to help others heal so that they all show up daily as their best selves. I believe what sets me apart from other coaches is my customized sessions, no session is alike as it is formatted to the client. I am most proud that I no longer struggle with inner wounds holding me down. If I feel certain wounds are trying to come back into my life I have the methods to stop those wounds from forming. That alone has caused much growth in my personal and professional life. It has not always been easy being an inner healing coach, my current challenges are from potential clients that recognize that they want and need help but are fearful to open up those wounds to heal. To overcome that challenge I started to design journals with guided prompts with the hopes of reaching those that may never book a session with me, but still will receive healing through my journals. I want people to know that if you become a client with Heart2heal Coaching or purchase one of my journals, you will feel compassion and empathy from me as I pour out my heart onto you. Heart2heal Coaching offers 1;1 sessions, extended coaching sessions, and group sessions.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I happen to be from a small town called Freeport, So, I would take my friend to a restaurant called Jr.’s Place for food, drinks, and entertainment and more than likely drive to Chicago for a livelier experience. If I were in Arizona though I would suggest Snooze for breakfast/brunch, Candle Chemistry for a DIY candle-making experience, and Phoenix Zoo for the scenery.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shout-out to my little sister Brianna who pushes and inspires me, my mother Regina who is my quiet cheerleader, my family who supports everything I do, my friends Lindsey & Chantelle for being true friends and pushing me, and every single person that has spoken a positive word and prayer over my life!
