We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Hayden and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brooke, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe that the main contributing factor for my success is my authenticity. I am genuine, compassionate and loving. I also have to give credit to my determination. If I want to make something happen, nothing can stop me. I believe that anything is possible and it is my number one goal in life to provide all the opportunities that I didn’t have as a child for my daughter. Last but not least, having a tremendous support system in family and friends that refuse to let me quit when things get rough.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I love connecting with people, especially my supporters. I remember being a little girl, dreaming about how amazing it would be to have been able to spend time with the artists I looked up to. I feel that the people that have given me their time listening to me sing, at the very least deserve me to give my time back as well. It is so special being able to reach people through your art. I have had unbelievable stories shared with me and I make it my mission to make everyone feel seen and appreciated.

I have experienced so much in the music industry. I would attribute most if not all of my accomplishments to just being brave enough to try. Nothing about my journey has been easy, personally or professionally but I am a fighter and I actively choose to try and be better every single day. I believe the number one ingredient to overcoming obstacles is simply never giving up. I have learned many lessons along the way but one of the most important is to always stay true to yourself.

I want the world to know that anything is possible if you are willing to put in the work, things aren’t always what they seem so please be kind to one another and never ever give up on yourself because you are worth it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am always on the go so we would definitely be out a lot! I also like to cook so I am sure there would be many meals at home. I love going to the Phoenix zoo and being around all the animals. Giraffes are my favorite so that would be a for sure stop. I love trying new restaurants and different cocktails so there would be plenty of that. We would check out museums and maybe go for a couple hikes, I like the trails at South Mountain. To end the trip I would definitely drive down to Puerto Peñasco Mexico for a getaway on the beach!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to first give a shout out to everyone in my life that believes in me relentlessly. It truly means everything to me and has kept me moving through all of lifes storms. I would also like to specifically thank one of my fans Miss Karen Strahl for nominating me for this interview. It means everything to me that you think I am worth recognizing! Thank you!
