We had the good fortune of connecting with Cameron Seoane, Founder of Morning Baseball and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cameron, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Baseball has been an integral part of my life, igniting my soul and shaping who I am today. As an ex-college baseball player, I experienced firsthand the transformative power this sport holds within each player. I believe that greatness is not limited to a few chosen individuals; it is accessible to all who dare to dream. MorningBaseball serves as a catalyst, encouraging players of all ages to unleash their inner potential by embedding the values of early rising, relentless work ethic, and audacious dreaming. I wanted to give all athletes a way to stay motivated and to never give up on their dream through high quality clothing that relates to the game of baseball. Our overall goal is to create a brand that not only empowers the one wearing our clothing, but as well as those around them.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
MorningBaseball is a clothing brand that not only cares about creating stylish and motivating high quality apparel, but also a brand that really strives to make an impact on each player that wears or sees our clothing. Unlike a lot of other clothing brands in the baseball space, our goal is truly honed in on giving baseball players another outlet of motivation in order to keep them disciplined and on track to make their dreams come true. In just 4 months, we’ve been reached out as well as supported by over 30+ players that have once played or are currently playing in the MLB organization. We’ve also been recognized by multiple baseball influencers including; Enjoy The Show Baseball, The Momentum Channel, FoulTerritory Show and more for our stylish designs and relentless goal to create the future of baseball streetwear. With being an established brand for only 4 months, we haven’t faced many crazy challenges yet, however it really takes a “give it all you got” effort to get into contact with different people in the baseball world. Social media has been a great tool for MorningBaseball, and are community of 1200 Instagram followers really seems to have our back.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Anytime I’m with anybody in Arizona, I’m usually going to Spring Training games! I’m a huge Angel fan and Diablo Stadium is one of my favorite places to be. Spring Training as a whole is an ultimate baseball experience for all fans due to the up close, personal interactions with all the players, as well as the amazing chance to watch them all practice before the regular season.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
If I could give anybody the credit when it came to the reason why I’m so passionate about baseball, it would have to be my father. My dad grew up playing and when I once I hit the age of 3 years old, he wasted no time getting me into baseball. He was an outstanding coach, who helped me out a lot along the way. My mother on the other hand has to be the reason for my creativity. She’s an amazing woman who I would absolutely do anything for and has shown me the support at my worst times, but never once has show any doubt in my abilities. My family means everything to me and without those two people in my life, I’m positive I wouldn’t be the man I am today. They’ve worked non stop to always provide me and my brother would happiness and I won’t stop working until they’re happily retired!
