We had the good fortune of connecting with brian helton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi brian, what do you attribute your success to?
People! From my employees to the people who visit my brewery. It’s all about relations. If you put employees first then they will rise to any occasion when the times get tough. Our loyal fans visit the brewery and purchase our beer when they see them at stores and restaurants.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love this state and the diversity it offers. Flagstaff is one of my goto locations. I love visiting Dark Sky Brewery and Mother Road Brewery. Great mountain bike trails and beautiful hikes. Phoenix has a great culinary scene. I enjoy taking people to extremes. We might spend one night at F&B enjoying some amazing dishes and the next night some street tacos. I have asked many of my friends and family what was there most enjoyable activity during their visit. The majority of their response is hiking peistawa peaks. I think they enjoyed the challenge, views, and workout.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have always sought out mentorship from many people in my industry. This community is fantastic and willing to discuss their successes and failures. Whether business or brewing processes, we share thoughts and experiences. Another mention would be my family. At a young age, the work ethic bestilled in me was a necessary tool to build a brewery and launch a brand.
