We had the good fortune of connecting with Cathy Bertram and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cathy, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
Oh my goodness, so many things inspire me! I am endlessly moved by the infinite energy that surrounds us and flows through all things. Everything is energy, and within that truth lies infinite wonder and inspiration. From the softest, quietest moments—like the sun’s golden warmth on my skin or the gentle hum of a hummingbird’s wings as I stand barefoot in my crystal circle—to the profound love and support I receive from my star family, the Lyran Council of Light, inspiration is always present.
Connecting with people is a deep source of joy for me. Whether I’m working with a small intimate group or a larger audience, the energy we share is palpable, transformative, and sacred. To bring in energies that support the greatest evolution for others and witness the transformation in their lives is truly awe-inspiring. Creativity is also a huge part of my journey—painting, sketching with pencil crayons, or trying any artistic medium that calls to me reminds me of the boundless potential of the human spirit.
My family inspires me profoundly, and my earthly mission is intricately woven with my three incredible children. My oldest son, CJ Sargent, is 26, an exceptionally gifted singer-songwriter, and he has rceently learned to produce his own music! CJ has a voice that carries not just melodies but profound emotion—it’s as though his soul speaks directly to the hearts of his listeners. He has an authenticity and purity of spirit that shines through in everything he does. His ability to tell stories through his music and touch lives with his words is an extraordinary gift that he has had since he was two.
My second child, Tehya Sargent, is 24 and possesses incredible gifts as well. She, too, has a stunning voice, and she and CJ have recently started to record songs together, creating harmonies that seem to channel pure light, yet speak to the density and challenges of this third dimension. Tehya also has a beautiful ability to communicate with animals. As an animal communicator and a facilitator of healing for humans, horses, and dogs, she bridges the gap between worlds with profound compassion and understanding. Watching her work is like witnessing a symphony of connection, trust, and mutual healing. I am absolutely thrilled for an extraordinary experience that Tehya and I will embark upon this March! We’re heading to Reno, Nevada, for a deeply transformative, one-of-a-kind channeled tattoo session with the incredibly gifted artist, Emerson Casey. This is something I have dreamed of for years, and the fact that I get to share this deeply magical experience with my daughter makes it even more special.
Kensie, my youngest daughter just turned 16, and she is a true light in this world. She is very creative with art, painting, dancing, singing, and writing. She radiates inspiration and courage, showing that age is no barrier to making an impact. Her passion and authenticity uplift everyone she encounters.
Our bond as a family is a central part of my mission. Together, we are using our unique gifts, talents, and passions to raise the frequency of the planet. Some of my greatest joys have come from collaborating with my children, whether through healing workshops, music, or creative projects.
Recently, I experienced a massive initiation with the Lyran Council of Light that amplified my abilities and elevated my mission grid. This profound transformation has not only deepened my connection to my work but has also expanded the impact I can make in the lives of my clients.
Ultimately, I am inspired by people—their stories, their courage, and their willingness to grow and evolve. The desire to co-create the New Earth and to support others on their ascension journey fills me with endless gratitude. It is a privilege and an honor to walk this path alongside so many extraordinary souls.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
For much of my life, I was terrified of being seen—especially on stage. Despite years as a teacher and later as a principal, it wasn’t until I stepped into my own business that I truly confronted those deep-rooted fears. The moment I embraced my authenticity, everything shifted. I allowed myself to be fully present—not just for others, but for myself—and that’s when the magic began. My work in the quantum expanded beyond anything I had imagined. Whether guiding clients one-on-one or facilitating transformative group sessions, I felt deeply connected, co-creating profound shifts in consciousness.
I am most proud of my journey—of the resilience that carried me through moments of intense challenge and change. True growth happens at the edge of our comfort zone, and I’ve learned that investing in myself and my evolution was only part of the equation. The real transformation came when I surrendered—to the process, to the unknown, to my higher self, and to my galactic team. Once I embraced that surrender, following my greatest joy and excitement became effortless. Right now, that joy comes from co-creating with the Councils of Light and guiding those who are ready to transform their lives. The energy that flows through this work is powerful, creative, and ever-evolving.

Years ago, I created an art piece titled Surrender and embedded these words within it:

“I surrender to my true nature, melding with the sacred center of my spiritual being; awakening all precious gifts within, I move with strength and purpose.”
These words continue to unfold for me, revealing new layers of truth over time. Originally, my art was highly realistic—at least in form, though not necessarily in color. In recent years, it has transformed, becoming multilayered and multidimensional, mirroring the evolution of my own life. My creative process is unique, bridging energy and consciousness across many layers of existence.

Both my art and energy work are deeply personal and ever-expanding. From a young age, art was my way of offering healing, transformation, and unconditional love. As I stepped into my sovereignty, energy work became my primary medium, but the essence remained the same—channeling higher frequencies to uplift and guide others. Through this process, I discovered my ability to channel multidimensional energy, merging creativity with oneness. Words would flow effortlessly, weaving into the images I created, each piece infused with purpose and intention.

Another piece, Tranquil Magic, carries this message:

“Tranquility exists within. Entering there creates new opportunities that change the way you view yourself and the world around you. As one cycle of life completes, the first step of another begins; balancing spontaneity with process, purpose with inspiration, and passion with blessings. Relaxing synthesizes these into precious gifts that benefit all.”

The journey of telepathy and energetic alignment has been one of my greatest joys—connecting to unconditional love, evolution, and unity consciousness. Energy healing is my soul’s calling, and I am honored to co-create in the quantum, guiding others as they awaken to their own limitless potential.

What makes my work unique is my authenticity, purity, and soul’s frequency. When we fully embody our truth and live in alignment with our deepest passion, we create the greatest impact. Authenticity, after all, is the highest human frequency!

Both my art and my ability to work with energy are in constant transformation, mirroring not only my own evolution but the collective consciousness as well. This path can be challenging, which is why having support is essential—someone who can help remove hidden blocks, reflect back your true greatness, and empower you to step fully into your divine essence. One of my greatest joys is witnessing transformation—helping others release what no longer serves them, remember their gifts, talents, and abilities, and step into their full potential.

As we collectively remember who we are—our worth, our sacred divinity, our unity, and our empowerment—we begin to see the world through an entirely new lens. And in that moment, the world itself is reborn.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A Perfect Week of Adventure and Connection:
What a fantastic question! There’s so much to see and do that I’ll do my best to pack in all the magic of this place.I absolutely love living on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada.
We’d begin our adventure with a soul-refreshing morning walk along the ocean—stepping straight out the patio doors and onto the shoreline, breathing in the salty air as we wander around the breathtaking shores of Ship’s Point. There’s something about the rhythm of the waves, the beautiful massive trees, and the cries of the seagulls that instantly grounds you.
From there, we’d make our way to Courtenay, but not before stopping at the legendary Fanny Bay Inn (FBI) for lunch. This cozy, historic pub holds a special place in my heart—not only is it a local favorite, but it’s also where we recently filmed CJ and Tehya’s music video for their original song Raising A Tolerance. The owners, Eric Boucher, and Diana Boucher are fantastic, and the atmosphere is always buzzing with friendly faces and great conversation.
In the afternoon, we’d embrace adventure by floating in tubes down the Puntledge River, drifting lazily beneath the summer sun until we reach the perfect spot to leap off the Condensory bridge—a thrilling tradition! If we’re craving more time on the water, we’ll take the paddleboards to Comox Lake, where the crystal-clear waters reflect the towering trees around us. For those who love a challenge, we’d head to Goose Spit—either for a peaceful paddle or to tackle the famous staircase workout, rewarded with panoramic ocean views. To end the day, dinner at Atlas Café is a must—its incredible food and welcoming service make it a beloved gem. Fun fact: CJ’s first music video, Broke Up The Same, was partially filmed here!
Day Two: Mountains, Trails, and Hidden Waterfalls
Next up, we’d hit the trails in Cumberland, a haven for mountain bikers and nature lovers. Whether biking or hiking, the lush, winding paths feel like stepping into another world. From there, we’d make our way to Mount Washington—in winter, it’s a skier’s paradise, but in summer, the mountain transforms into an epic biking destination with stunning alpine views. To cool off, we’d take a detour to the swimming holes at Barber’s Hole and Nymph Falls, where the cascading water and smooth rock formations create a magical, tucked-away retreat.
Day Three: A Journey to “Little Hawaii”
No trip would be complete without venturing to the other close by islands! We’d hop on the ferry to Denman Island, soaking in the laid-back charm before catching a second ferry to Hornby Island. Our destination? Tribune Bay, a stretch of soft white sand and turquoise waters so breathtaking it’s been nicknamed “Little Hawaii.” If we were feeling extra adventurous, we’d skip the ferry altogether and paddleboard there straight from our house!
A Touch of Luxury and a Trip to the Wild West Coast
For a day of ultimate relaxation, we’d visit the Kingfisher Oceanside Resort & Spa, indulging in gourmet food and their stunning spa experience, where the hydropath immerses you in a world of cascading waterfalls and mineral-infused pools.
For the grand finale, we’d set off on a road trip to Tofino—a two-and-a-half-hour drive through towering rainforests, winding mountain passes, and misty coastline. On our route we would make two must see stops; Goats on the Roof in Coombs, and Cathedral Grove, then its straight to Tofino! Tofino is a place of untamed beauty—where surfers ride endless waves, hidden trails lead to breathtaking views, and cozy cafés serve some of the best coffee on the island. We might spend the day surfing, exploring tide pools, or wandering through the artisan shops, soaking in the magic of this remote coastal town. One of my favourite places is Roy Henry Vickers Gallery. I love his art! On one of my visits in 2017, I was fortunate enough to meet him.
This island is full of wonders, and I feel incredibly blessed where I live, to call it home—on the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation and the Qualicum First Nation. No matter how many times I explore these places, they never lose their magic.
So, what do you think? Are you ready to come visit?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Truthfully, there are so many people, experiences, and energies that have assisted me on my journey—I’ve been on this path for as long as I can remember! That said, there are five individuals who stand out significantly: Steve Rother, Brenda Walsh, Lisa Thomas, Jerry Sargeant, and Livia Devi. I feel that this is perfect as five represents massive change and that is the truth to my journey!
My journey started early. I was always searching, taking courses, reading books, and attending workshops. One of the first books I read as a child was Jonathan Livingston Seagull, and it resonated deeply. Even then, I knew I was like Jonathan, seeking something far greater than the physical world I was born into. What I didn’t know was that I had cut myself off from a vital connection to my star family and my soul mission at the age of three.
When I was three, I had an extraordinary experience. My star family downloaded cosmic wisdom, light codes, and the blueprint for my life’s mission. For eight hours, I was “missing” from the human realm—an experience that sent my parents and the entire neighborhood into a frantic search. When I returned, I felt the crushing weight of their terror and grief, and in that moment, I made a split-second decision to shut it all off: my connection to my star family, the cosmic knowledge, and even the memory of the event itself in order to avoid being the cause of such deep emotional pain. From that moment forward, I felt like a part of me was missing, and I spent years trying to find it again. I poured myself into books, sessions, and programs, searching for what I had lost. The real transformation began when I pushed past my comfort zone and stepped fully into the trainings that would allow me to work at a deeper level with others.
Steve Rother was significant in my transformation, as I felt the love and connection of “home” through his and his wife, Barbara’s work. He published one of my illustrations in his book “Spiritual Psychology”. Meeting him was a divinely guided synchronicity.
Brenda Walsh was an incredible guide and mentor for years, who helped me navigate the immense challenges and densities that I was experiencing with my human life, as I was afraid to act upon my inner voice and guidance!
In 2021-2022, I immersed myself in Lisa Thomas’s Soul Awakening Method. Completing Levels 1, 2, and Mastery unlocked profound healing and transformation. For the first time, I began to work openly as an energy healer, no longer hiding my gifts or fearing judgment. Witnessing the profound shifts in my clients’ lives was incredible, and it fueled my desire to go deeper.
That desire brought me to Jerry Sargeant, where I completed Facilitator Training Levels 1, 2, and 3. I worked really hard to transform my life with the tools I had learned. I attended two of Jerry’s Deep in Space events, one in Egypt, that trip was profoundly special because all of my children, CJ, Tehya, and Kensie were with me. We experienced deep healing as a family, strengthening our connection in ways I will always cherish.
It was through Jerry that I connected with Livia Devi, and her mentorship brought everything together. I let go of who I thought I was, aligned fully with my higher self, and began embodying my true essence. During this time, I finally recovered the memory of what had happened when I was three. The Arcturian Council of Light reconnected me to my star family, the Lyran Council of Light, who reignited my soul mission. This initiation brought me to a completely new level of alignment, transformation, and purpose.

I also have to honor my incredible children. In many ways they have been my greatest teachers and anchors. Even during the darkest moments, when I didn’t want to stay on this planet, their love and presence kept me grounded and reminded me why I chose this. Which has now brought me to this incredible space of love, for myself and this immense journey that required massive resilience and inner strength to persevere through such a long process of transformation. I used to be envious of what I considered to be those lucky souls who would undergo some life changing event or circumstance that would provide what seemed to be instant transformation, and awakening. I now know that my journey is what enables me to connect to my clients in a profound way and provide incredible support and positive impact!
Finally, I want to express my gratitude to family, and friends who have supported me with love and encouragement through every step of my journey. Their presence reminds me of the power of unconditional love and connection. To all of them—and to everyone who has guided, mentored, or inspired me along the way—I am eternally grateful.
