We had the good fortune of connecting with Cathy Cardenas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cathy, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Hope Wear Clothing was created to help spread a positive message while giving back to some important causes on the community. There is so much negativity in the world today amd we feel like its important to share a positive message, positive words and spread love. We feel like you can do that thru a special loving and positive message on our tshirts.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think that being a being able to come up with designs and creations that are also spreading a positive message in the world today while also giving back to some very important charities in the community is the perfect formula for any successful and busy business. I believe very much that the instant success of of Hope Wear Clothing has been from personal inspiration, hard work and God’s hand in it.
I think it’s a good reminder to never be afraid to try something new and and put all of your faith in it and trust the outcome.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I would definitely take a good friend to go and hike South Mountain or  hike up to see the hole in the rock. Especially around sunset. There is nothing better than getting out in nature and seeing how beautiful it is from a different view..

It’s hard to pick just one place to take someone to eat and have drinks. I think Arizona offers so many great locations I think anything with a good view in good company makes it special.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this to my daughter Hope. Her name and her empathy and kindness to others is what inspired Hope Wear Clothing.
