Hi Cecelia, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Cecelia: Risk is something we all must take on a daily basis with our choices. It’s a risk to start a business, and its a risk to not start a business – just depends on how you look at it. When it came to starting up DVNTY CBD, Enrique (fiance/co-founder) and I both were at a moment in our lives where we needed change. Either we would keep working for unaligned businesses, or we would take the leap and start our own business that aligned with our values in life. We chose to risk our “stable & comfortable” incomes for an adventure through entrepreneurship. If it weren’t for that sudden decision to go all in and create what we had visualized in our minds, we wouldn’t be where we are today – launched with a private foundation to donate 10% of profits to.

What should our readers know about your business?
Amongst the COVID-19 pandemic, DVNTY CBD was created to intentionally empower the collective to re-align with daily self care. Based in Phoenic, Arizona, we are proudly on a mission to positively transform & heal the collective with with power of honest, organic Hemp CBD products. Whether it’s uplifting your mood or winding down after a long day, our CBD tinctures are the perfect addition for all day, all-natural relief.
Born to a humble family in Bogota, Colombia, where 45% of the population lives below the poverty line, our co-founder, Enrique, watched as people of his country struggled due to a corrupt government & lack of opportunities. Many families to this day live on the streets or makeshift shelters without access to clean water, basic sanitation or electricity.

Now in 2021, with your generous support & commitment to self-care, we provide 10% of our profits to our private foundation, La Divinidad, to help provide positive transformation and healing amongst impoverished Colombian families. That’s our higher purpose – to help you create a conscious self-care routine that alleviates a variety of imbalances within the mind, body, & soul – while giving back to families in need with each bottle sold.

We began our journey by committing to making our dream happen no matter what. With that strong desire in place, we developed a step-by-step plan to our first goal: launching our ecommerce site. Crossing one task off at a time, we slowly started to see the idea manifest into our physical reality. It takes time, patience, and a burning desire to achieve your goals. Take it from us, that it’s possible to get where you want to be through hard work and determination.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to recognize the book “Think and Grown Rich” by Napoleon Hill for the valuable contribution it had pertaining to the manifestation of my ideas into my reality. Through careful study, I was able to confidently develop a plan to commit to and take action on. Once I crossed off every item on that list to obtain my goal of having a launched business, I was able to launch by business. I highly recommend this read for anyone wanting to get from point A to point B without a messy experience.
