We had the good fortune of connecting with Chandler J. Holsapple, Esq. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chandler J., maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I thought to myself- how can I bring innovation to the legal industry? How can I make things easier and more accessible to people? Then it hit me, times are changing and the world is going virtual. Now more than ever we want efficiency- and operating in the online space makes that possible. By having a virtual-based firm, I’m able to meet with clients when it’s most convenient for them. Mark Twain said “There is no such thing as a new idea. It is impossible. We simply take a lot of old ideas and put them into a sort of mental kaleidoscope. We give them a turn and they make new and curious combinations. We keep on turning and making new combinations indefinitely; but they are the same old pieces of colored glass that have been in use through all the ages.” I agree. I didn’t reinvent the wheel, I simply spun it differently. As an entrepreneur, you must be willing to constantly evolve and bring simplicity to consumers in new and different ways. What should our readers know about your business?
I always say “I’m not a regular lawyer, I’m a cool lawyer”. Often times lawyers get a bad rep for being “stiff”, “arrogant”, and “unrelatable”. I do my best to showcase that this is an outdated narrative. In law school they instill that you have to be a certain way to be successful. I’m happy to say I’ve broken that mold in every way possible. Disrupting an industry is never easy. It’s unique and challenging but thats what makes it so worthwhile. Being at the forefront of change is exciting because you get to pave the way and set an example for others. The best thing you can do is tune out the noise and trust yourself and your vision. I will never compromise myself to appease others expectations of who I should be. Not personally and not professionally. When I first started my firm, I was told to find someone successful in my field and emulate them. To date, that may be some of the worst advice I ever received. I don’t want to be like anyone else, I want to be myself. Being the most authentic version of myself is one of the main reasons I’ve seen so much success. It’s why my brand stands out and it’s why clients want to work with me.Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m extremely blessed to say my best friend does live here- so we get to take on new experiences and have the best time ever, all the time. Hiking is definitely at the top of the list. Anything from camelback to sedona- we love to explore new scenery and get out in nature. Depending on the mood, our favorite food spots are culinary drop out and maple & ash. Taking our pups for a walk along the scottsdale waterfront is also a top tier activity.Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My dad, hands down. He’s always pushed me to reach my full potential and dream beyond what I ever thought was possible. If it wasn’t for his encouragement and faith in me, I wouldn’t of even gone to law school. We all need people in our life who see what we are truly capable of and hold us to that standard. For me, that person is my dad. Each time I didn’t think I could do something, he’s been there to remind me I can do anything.
