Hi Chanell, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Being authentic and overall a good person goes a long way ! Any success that’s ever come to me I believe has been through hard work and persistence as well as dedication and a positive look at life . Taking the time to plan and perfect never goes in vain no matter how long it takes to see your vision come to life .I also don’t believe in labels or being set to a specific way to do things and that’s what I think makes Babe company so unique.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Babe Company is a one stop shop for all things unique and creative . Sourcing and selling vintage designer clothing and home goods as well as custom hand made wearable art/designs is how BABE originally came to be! In 2023 we now offer venue rentals , photography services and personal styling options! Starting off as just a passion for fashion and a hobby I turned what I loved into a business and didn’t put myself in a box . Babe is a brand and now a legacy and doesn’t just fit into one category . Offering a unique white glove experience you can come to our brick and mortar located at 1313 south 33rd street and book a private shopping experience while being served complimentary drinks/beverages and going going through our one of a kind hand made pieces and inventory.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When I’m in Arizona Sante’ is a top spot for a beyond organic restaurant dining experience.It has a great aesthetic and food to match . For a unique bar experience I’d recommend 36 below and Cham Pang Lanes + Ghost Donkey For some fun and food options to end your night ! Here in Philadelphia Unit Su Vege is my favorite vegetarian restaurant, the food is top tier I would definitely give it 5 stars ! For a fun night out downtown Philadelphia has many many things to offer , but for a base point I’d recommend The Ranstead Room for drinks .They offers some top quality cocktails and friendly service . To try some different foods all at once the Reading Terminal Market is a indoor farmers market that has alot to see and enjoy . Lastly for a good time Blue Cross RiverRink provides roller skating and ice skating fun depending on the season as well as Ferris wheel riding and many other fun attractions.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My daughter Juliana , she’s the highlight of my life and my motivation .Everything I do I think about how I’ll be potentially impacting her future and building something that will stand the test of time like the unique items that I find.
