We had the good fortune of connecting with Christian Klingeler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christian, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have always strived to help others in my previous jobs, but they never fulfilled me. I never thought creating art would fulfill me in this way, but I now realize creating art affects people’s lives by evoking feelings and memories in their home. My wife is an interior designer and together, ChristianKGallery has created the unique fix to our clients struggle of finding the right art style for their interior design visions with the perfect balance of size and style. We make sure the commissioned artwork is meaningful to the client, with the right color palette, size, and installation location. We offer art elevation renderings and design consultations to every client. My clients have given me the most passionate ‘thank yous’ and express how the art has affected their lives.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets apart my art from others is that I customize the style and size for my client’s specific needs. I am excited for the opportunity to work with my client’s ideas and my wife’s design vision to create something unique and special for them. Creating custom art is never easy, the brush takes me to different places but by having the right color palette and style vision it all comes together perfectly. I would like my brand to be known for quality custom artwork that elevates the client’s homes.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am inspired my the desert landscape and mountains so I would take them for a hike on Camelback mountain, breakfast at Fàme Caffe downtown Phoenix, drinks and wings at SanTan Brewery, followed by Paletas Betty for dessert. Every trip must include the art walk through Old Town Scottsdale and a trip to Sedona to get inspired and refreshed.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate the shoutout to my wife Eliana. Without her design vision my art wouldn’t fulfill my client’s needs.
