We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Culinski and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christina, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe my success is created by being consistent in my work, also continuing my education to be the best at my craft creates success for my brand.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have worked as a Hairstylist & Makeup artist for over 30 years. Professionally I have grown as an artist.with every opportunity I have been given to show my craft,
My work has taken me all over the world for advertising & Film work & Celebrity work.
I was recently invited to join the Hair & Makeup Union,A big jump for my career !
I have worked very hard to be considered. What this will do for my career? the opportunity to work in Film in TV as a IATSE member,
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My best friend is visiting me from Nashville, I would take her to Le colonial for French Vietnamese food, then the Green Mill for jumping jazz. Chicago is a fun music & foodie filled city!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mentor at the beginning my career was MJ Tarabein, I apprenticed with her learning all aspects of Hairstyling.
