We had the good fortune of connecting with Clint Peters and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clint, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have been an avid golfer my entire life and the opportunity to acquire Sniper presented itself in 2019 and it was an exciting thought to be able to take a company that was a putter business and transition it to my personal vision of it becoming a golf ball and accessory company.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have been in sales for over 25 years and when I had the chance to acquire Sniper and combine my passion for golf and my previous history of sales together it has been an exciting venture. I have learned so much over the past 3 years of running the company and learning from mistakes and also simply from experiences along the way. Taking an unknown brand and trying to compete against the biggest brands in the business is a challenge to say the least. We are trying to build our brand by differentiating ourselves from the others with service and personal contact. There is no doubt our products stand up to the most popular in the industry so it is just a matter of getting people to try them and then come back for more once they do. By exceling in customer service and asking for feedback and interactions from our customers, it has helped us build relationships and loyalty with many of them who ultimately tell someone else which helps us grow. Our golf balls are extremely good in comparison to top balls on the market and if people did blind comparison tests of numbers comparing ours against the best, I believe most would be stunned at what they see and could save a significant amount of money using our balls. We also didn’t use traditional box and sleeve packaging for our balls and utilize 6 ball tubes. These draw attention to our products that also help get customers to possibly try them out of curiousity. I always say we are not discount golf balls, we are top performance golf balls simply at a better price. My job the first couple years was coming out with products we can put up against the best and now that we have done that, the focus is shifting to becoming a marketing company to get the word out. I like to say our challenge is we beat them in performance on the course, but lose to them in ad spend.
