We had the good fortune of connecting with Coco Dixon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Coco, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My goal was to offer sellers and buyers the services they needed but weren’t receiving, and to provide real estate agents with the support and resources I wished I had received when I first became a REALTOR®.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

We are a Premier Lifestyle Boutique Brokerage, with a high level of intentionality and a specific focus on meeting the most finite needs and real estate goals of our clients.

I’ve been in the real estate industry for over 3 decades, and it has been a winding road of wins and fails. I came into the buying and selling side of real estate just before the market crash and making traction was difficult. There were no mentors or coaches back then and none of the experienced agents I looked up to would help me. I decided to tap into the clients in my interior design business and ask them to share relationship testimonials about working with me on their homes. Those testimonials resonated with prospective buyers and sellers who gave me the opportunity to be their agent. Their generosity led to my “failure is not an option” real estate approach today, and why my brokerage’ is lifestyle-focused vs transactional.

In today’s unpredictable and complex real estate landscape, what buyers and sellers truly  need are seasoned professionals and assured legal safety. And that’s what we strive to deliver.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Breakfast on the patio at Hyatt Regency Gainey, lunch at Luna by Giada inside Ceasar Republic Scottsdale, and dinner Adero Scottsdale Resort, Autograph Collection. This area of the valley is officially recognized as a dark sky region, and dining on the patio at Cielo offers an absolutely awe-inspiring experience.

Scottsdale is a hub of luxury, boasting upscale boutiques, art galleries, gourmet dining, and top-tier golf courses. I highly recommend exploring attractions such as Taliesin West, the Ritz Carlton Resort and Spa, the charming galleries in Oldtown, the Westin Resort & Golf Course in Kierland, Market Street Commons in DC Ranch, Ocean Club in Kierland, and the Fairways Golf Course in McDowell Mountain Ranch, to name just a few.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My initial journey in real estate was guided by my first Broker, Barry Lehane. Although he is no longer with us, the principles and values he instilled in me have shaped my real estate foundation. His teachings and character have been instrumental in inspiring me to establish my own lifestyle real estate brokerage and to become the kind of Designated Broker I am today.
