Hi Cole, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I made the decision to open my own practice, my goal was simple: to elevate the standard of dentistry—not just for myself, but for my patients. I wanted to create an environment where every aspect of care was intentionally chosen to improve the patient experience. That meant setting high standards for staff training, carefully selecting quality materials, partnering with top-tier labs, and holding ourselves to an uncompromising level of clinical excellence.
Ultimately, I wanted to take full control of the process so I could help reshape how people feel about going to the dentist—making it less intimidating, more comfortable, and genuinely better in every way.

What should our readers know about your business?
What I’m most proud of right now is the growth we’ve seen in the office. Building a dental practice in North Scottsdale is no easy feat, it’s a highly competitive and challenging area but over the past few months, we’ve made tremendous progress. We’re excited to continue welcoming new patients and expanding our ability to serve the North Scottsdale community and surrounding areas.
Reaching this point has been one of the most difficult and stressful experiences of my life. Every day brings new challenges, and balancing clinical dentistry with the responsibilities of running a business can be incredibly demanding. But no matter what, my priority has always been and will always remain doing what’s right for our patients and the integrity of the profession, even before business concerns.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the value of building a strong, supportive team. It’s something that’s often overlooked, but the staff in a dental office can make or break the entire patient experience. I’m incredibly fortunate to work alongside a team that truly cares and shares the same values.
If there’s one thing I want people to know about our office, it’s that we care deeply. Every patient matters regardless of their situation and we’ll go above and beyond to support them throughout their dental journey. That could mean helping someone get through a simple cleaning with confidence or transforming their smile through life changing cosmetic work like veneers. Whatever it is, our goal is always to make a meaningful impact.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many fun things to do in this state, but I’ll keep it short and just highlight a few favorites. I love checking out new restaurants and trendy spots, some top picks include Buck & Rider, Uchi, and Taco Guild. The golf courses here are incredible, and you can find great options almost anywhere. For more affordable rounds, Las Sendas and Gold Canyon are excellent choices. If you’re looking for areas to explore, Old Town Scottsdale is hard to beat, but North Scottsdale and Downtown Gilbert are also fantastic

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The support of my family has been a constant in my life, long before my journey into dentistry began. None of this would have been possible without their unwavering encouragement. From the moment I shared my dream of becoming a dentist back in high school, they believed in me wholeheartedly, and that belief laid the foundation for the dental office I now run.
In addition to my family, hearing from other business owners, both within and outside of the dental field has been incredibly valuable. Their experiences and insights have played a key role in shaping my path as a business owner.
