Meet Cyn Silva

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cyn Silva and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cyn, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Easily said… Life has a knack for getting in the way. It’s relentless, always inserting itself between us and our passions. But where there’s a will, there’s always a way!
When my four kids were young, juggling their sports and activities left me with slivers of time—late nights and stolen moments of “me time”—to devote to my art. Now, with all my children graduated, launched into successful careers, I finally have the freedom to dive headfirst back into my art career.
My journey through a thriving real estate career, where I sold over half a billion dollars in properties, equipped me with invaluable business and marketing skills. Though real estate demanded my full attention—late nights, weekends, always on—I managed to carve out space for art, even weaving commissioned pieces into my client relationships.
Now, here I sit in my art studio, feeling immensely grateful. My real estate career not only provided financial stability but also taught me balance. And now, with over a hundred paintings swirling in my mind that I wish to create, I’m excited to bring them to life on canvas and share them with the world.
Being an artist is exposing yourself on your sleeve, it’s exposing oneself to vulnerability and risk. But it’s those very risks that promise the greatest rewards. I remind myself of the art collectors worldwide, the private collections, corporate spaces, estates, and galleries that proudly display my work.
Art is not just my passion; it’s my calling. I am happy to say, I’m just getting started—again.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I enjoy creating art commissions for my art clientele. I have built a great network of Interior Designers, Builders, Architects, athletes and celebrities that have their trust in me as an artist. This means the world to me. I hope to always be able to convey their wishes and spirituality on the canvas. I also have been recently painting a lot of Murals for local Med Spa’s which has been so fun for me. Give me a spray paint can and a blank wall and good things will happen!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The Global Ambassador is beautiful and has an amazing restaurant and rooftop. I paint Plein air a lot and one of my favorite places to paint is at Superstition mountain. The views are insane! Main Street in Old Town has incredible art Galleries and the Western Spirit Museum is my favorite Gallery along with Brennen Fine Art which displays my artwork.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are numerous Art Leagues that I joined when I relocated here in 2020. Sonoran Art League, NCA, ASID, Artlink and many more.
