Meet Dale Wilson | Fashion Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dale Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dale, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important thing to me is to fulfill my purpose that God has for me. Without him there would be no success. He is my ultimate inspiration. The goal is to cross boards and breakthrough boundaries that I never crossed before. I realized I have a special eye for fashion when I began combining patterns, colors, and textiles in ways that just felt natural. Being able to create unique pieces with my vision & this sewing machine is my passion.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart is my tenacity and attention to details. I have a deep love for colors, textures, and patterns, especially when it comes to constructing garments. Everything matters from start to finish. I believe the process of creating comes naturally for me and every design I’ve created is a highly inspired vision from God that I bring to life. What excites me most is not just the final product, but the transformation that happens when someone puts on something I’ve created. What fuels me most is seeing the modern man or woman feeling like royalty in something that I’ve designed and that is the goal.
I fell in love with fashion as a young boy in middle school. I’ve been surrounded by fashion, my whole life. My mother had a clothing line, and my great grandmother was the neighborhood seamstress. Spending time with her, assisting her and watching her work, gave me a strong foundation in both skills and passion.
But no, it definitely wasn’t easy. The road to success is filled with sacrifices, failures, and lessons. As an entrepreneur, you experience days when everything feels like it’s working against you. But I never counted a loss as a loss; I thought as a lesson. That mindset, along with an unshakable belief in what God called me to do, is what kept me going.
I’ve overcame challenges by just staying focused, I developed the mindset that refused to quit no matter what. There are times when friends, family, and even your own thoughts can feel like obstacles. But I’ve learned that you have to be almost insane with your level of belief in yourself and vision.
I want the world to know that Raja Adorn is not just a brand. It’s a household name in the making. The goal is to go global and to create timeless pieces that speak for themselves. Each garment is more than fabric- It’s a story, a purpose, and a filling wrapped into something beautiful.
This is my God-given gift, and I’m walking in my purpose. I’m not just here to make great clothes; I’m here to impact lives through fashion. I want people to feel seen, elevated, and empowered when they wear Raja Adorn. Because when you feel good, you show up differently and that’s what my creations are all about.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I,ll be honest, I am more so of a homebody. I work a lot and between traveling and consistently being on the go trying to always elevate my brand when I’m home…I’m home or I’m spending time with my kids. On certain occasions one of my go to spots is a place that I really love on Sundays: Toca Madera in Scottsdale. And sometimes, I’ll hit the W hotel. I do enjoy having a few drinks and the rooftop is always a cool hangout spot. But honestly, I also love going to the museum. They’re peaceful and always sparks inspiration for me. and yes..the gym too. Lol my friends tell me all the time I’m boring, but I’m cool with that.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, God gets the glory nothing I do is possible without him. I’m also grateful for my mother, Yolanda Wilson, for always pushing me to be great and praying for me at the times that I needed the most. And to my aunt Nikki, a.k.a. Nikki Pooh. She’s forever, encouraging me making sure the brand is spoken highly of and is being seen exposed and promoted. It would be remiss of me if I didn’t pay homage to my home town Milwaukee, WI. I’m forever grateful for the people who continue to wear and support my brand.
