We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Nichole and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
The most important thing I have done as a parent that has impacted my children is breaking generational curses and generational trauma. I speak love into my children. My children are growing and learning things that I’ve never learned at a young age. I have broken all generational curses that have been brought on me and I told myself that I would never repeat the same trauma that was brought on me, onto my children. They get to grow up in a loving household. They loved for who they are and not what they can provide. Just seeing them smile and looking up to me every day brings me joy & warms my heart.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started my business writing blogs. My blog started off as Self-love-mentor. On my blogs I share my personal stories of abuse and healing. I wanted to share my story through my blogs, for those who can relate, I can also help them heal in the process.
Then I started a sub brand called self-love body care. Where I personally hand make body care products using all natural ingredients. The purpose of my products are to help others heal with the support of my natural range of Self-Love Body Care products. All of my products are made using 100% natural ingredients and have a strong focus on essential oils and CBD.
This journey of mine has been a long one. It hasn’t been easy getting started. I struggled a lot in the beginning trying to get my brand out there. My biggest struggle was always marketing. I didn’t know how to tell the story of my brand and I didn’t know how to get my brand out in front of a big audience. SEO was new to me. But I was so eager to learn. I researched everything that I needed in order for my business to grow. I want to give a big thanks to my fiancé. He brought me to Business groups & marketing meetups where I met some really nice people, that help me grow my business and scale it to where it is to day. One thing I have learned on my journey is there’s always room to grow. There’s always room to go bigger. & it’s always good to think bigger. I learned that I am capable of more than I thought I was. I am so excited for what my future has in store for me & for my business. I’m excited to share it with the world.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First I would take them to check out Sedona. One of my favorite places in the whole state very spiritual and magical. We could go on a few hiking. One of my favorites being the devils bridge. We can do a little shopping and check out the Only McDonald’s with blue arches.
Then maybe the next day we can check out the Grand Canyon. A go to when you visit Arizona. I would definitely take my best friend to the south rim. Or, maybe we can take a drive and do an ATV tour around the Grand Canyon & site see. Then grab a bite at the Big E steakhouse. On our way back from the Grand Canyon I will check out the horseshoe Bend what a beautiful sight to see.
For the rest of our time in Arizona I would show them local spots around Phoenix one being my favorite hike is South Mountain. Other favorite local hikes of mine are Camelback Mountain, A Mountain and Verrado stairs. Some of my favorite restaurants are The hub, they have the best smoked wings, & Bobby Qs all round great food! Some of my favorite local hangout spots would be Top golf, Glendale entertainment District, & Old Town Scottsdale. Lots of nice bars and lounges filled with great vibes to hang out. There is also a lot of vendor events & festivals to check out local small businesses every weekend.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank my fiancé for encouraging me to level up & for pushing me to better myself.
I also wanna give a big thanks to my big bro for always supporting everything I do or have done in life & for your positive energy.
I also want to give a huge thanks to my friends Tia, Terriana, & Crystal for always being there for me & your positive energy. Thank you so much.
I am so grateful for those who are apart of my life.
