We had the good fortune of connecting with Destiny Ziemann and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Destiny, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
My little family and I packed up and moved to the Prescott area in August ’21 from a small town in Southern Arizona. I’m all about living an intentional life and taking risks but growing up shy I lacked confidence in myself and was scared to be vulnerable by putting myself out there. But because I have always been interested in the event business, the move had me feeling brave and wanting to be apart of this new community. I wanted to do something fun and unique, which led me to white luxe bounce houses and soft play. I love the the diversity that comes with the blank canvas bounce houses and getting to see how my clients choose to dress them up. I truly have such a strong passion in helping bring special events to life. We are now going on four months of business and serving all parts of Northern Arizona. I have also recently joined forces with two other mom event owned businesses to open Prescott Collective Event Studio in the Prescott Gateway Mall. I am so incredibly excited to see what other doors my small business may open for me!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Although my work consists mostly of the luxe white bounce houses, I also do soft play and ball pit rentals! I have also been expanding my inventory to offer within the event studio. I would love for it to become a one stop shop for event rentals along with the two other businesses I collab with! One thing I have needed to adjust to is dedicating the majority of my time to my business. Whether that be social media posts, answering emails, sending invoices, working on the event studio, or working on weekends. When I started I was just a stay at home mom to 2 under 2. I am now very excited to see how the event studio plays out, we have many exciting ideas for it. My ultimate goal would be opening an even larger event space in the future, that can fit our larger bounce houses indoors!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would definitely hangout downtown. Walk the courthouse, Whiskey row do some shopping and dinner and drinks at the Barley Hound.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My fiance Arthur has always been my motivation when I feel like giving up, the amount of support he gives me is unmatchable. He didn’t even blink an eye when I told them that I was going to buy a couple of bounce houses. Plus, he loads them into the truck for me.
