We had the good fortune of connecting with Dossie Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dossie, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Between my personal and work life there has been many changes. Id love to call it a perfect balance but the truth is, the levels change daily. Some days it’s ALL work and some days it’s ALL personal. My advice to people would be to not differentiate in the normal ways. Do your best work every time you get the chance, and when you’re done, LIVE the best life possible.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am blessed to have people in my life that support the goals and dreams I have in life. As a professional artist there are endless ways to reach my audience. When I make music my goal is to relate to the people with similar feelings, no matter where it may come from. The foundation I have built circulates through all sides of the city of Phoenix purely because of the personal attachment people have to my music. I want all supporters, new and old, to be able to find truth in my work so that it may make a difference. The creation is everything to me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Arizona is FULL of life, from the top to the bottom. No matter what side of town you are on you can find the best locations to visit. You can find good food and entertainment from Westgate all the way to Scottsdale. I personally enjoy being involved in every type of scene in Arizona.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The city of Phoenix is undeniably FULL of people that continuously help eachother exceed. I’ve personally been able to do continuous work with artists such as Cafe Pico, Wizdem, OLQVD, FG, Jimmy Groove$, Gemini Jay, and so many more.
