We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth Birchard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elizabeth, what is the most important factor behind your success?
It’s all important! It’s not just one thing! It all starts with the quality of the ingredients, product quality, brand packaging, customer satisfaction & relations, including our vendors and retail store owners who believed in me! This and so much more are balled up into that 1oz bag of goodness!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I became a register dental assistant at a young age – It was something I learned to love over the years! This was a very demanding and yet satisfying job! I have been at one practice now for over 22 years and have had only 2 Drs I have worked with, both whom are very respected in Coachella Valley. Both taught me that dental business success was more than just good dental work! It required building relationships with our patients and clients. And over the years so many have become more than just patients in my heart.

My heart and soul are in every chip you eat!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would say – “Hey John” (My husband) my friends are coming to town what should we do? Most likely we would take them to Joshua Tree – downtown palm springs – El Paseo in Palm Desert – Lunch and a dinner at Kitchen 86 on El Paseo. Play some golf for sure as my husband is a golf professional at Marrakesh Country Club in Palm Desert – His profession is his passion!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family for believing in my dream! Without their help and understanding Tu-Tu’s never would have seen the light of day! My father – in- law who tirelessly assisted in all production during my days at my day job! To Mark & Bubba at On the Mark in Palm Springs. These guys know how to make your party, celebration or add a perfect touch to dinner after a long day living in Palm Springs! To Mike, Lori and Richard at L&G’s Market, Indio – this family-owned market gave tutu’s its first opportunity at retail shelf space! It’s so much fun to be a part of the community I love and be able to give back to those who gave so much to me!
