Meet Emmalee Lunt | Event Coordinator & Wedding Planner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Emmalee Lunt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emmalee, what do you attribute your success to?
My family has always lived by the motto “work hard, play hard.” With having an upbringing already involved with the hospitality industry since I was a child, and started working at a very young age- I learned the value of a dollar and the important skill-set of hard work which has helped me progression and success of Euphoria HSLA at such an earlier age.

Truly the hardest part about having your own business I don’t believe is the financial risk and burden, the uncertainly in cliente and the on-going process to gain more clientele… I believe its not having the constant support of your loved ones and piers. Motivation will only go so far, if you are going to survive against your competitors you need to be disciplined everyday. I believe being disciplined in your purists. being assertive with your motives, being serious about achievable goals, and give your company/ brand everything you got- you won’t fail; you will learn a lot of hard lessons, and have alot of downfalls along the way- but you won’t fail.
Also, being just a unique, fun, and social individual- people are always willing to work with individuals an professionals who are easy to talk to and approachable… so in other words, just be yourself and you’ll find your market, don’t try to force something you aren’t.

Euphoria HSLA is an event planning business that provides unique hospitality services and luxury amenities. We are based in the Phoenix Valley of Arizona, but have expanded into Utah County and Southern California this year as well. Aside from being a travel-based company that is willing to relocate anywhere for any of our clients special occasion, events, or weddings- our attention to detail and operational orientation ensures that every detail and item is accounted for. We understand the importance of your wedding day and can’t wait to be there by our client’s side every step of the way! Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Phoenix Valley is arguably home to some of the best restaurants, hotels, nightlife activities, venues, hotels, and more- there is so much to do here! Being a true Arizonian, the perfect day in Arizona is spent getting brunch or an acai bowl, and heading to Saguaro Lake to have endless fun wake surfing on a boat with good company, good music, and beautiful warm weather. Being a total night owl, which is so fitting with my profession, I am always a sucker for live concerts, comedy clubs, night swims, or getting dinner at any authentic taco joint, Italian bistro, or sushi hot spot. Whatever may be your interests, I promise there’s somewhere within the Phoenix Valley that has it! But truly, I love my job- so the perfect day would incorporates working with my team on a client’s wedding!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank Boca Taqueria, and give my family a shout out for mentoring me and giving me work opportunities as such a young age to teach me hard work and the value of a dollar.

I also worked for Wedgewood Weddings for a few yeas, and I think if you are going to work for any wedding company within the industry- they are the best as a mentor that gives room for growth, opportunity, improvement with your skill set, and an overall great company to work with. Whether you are an experienced professional or just trying to learn the rounds of events and banquets- their Arizona region had a fun work atmosphere.
