We had the good fortune of connecting with George Díaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi George, what inspires you?
I find inspiration traveling. Knowing new places and cultures makes you rich. New experiences make you grow. I can say I’m a better and more mature person because of traveling. When you travel, you open a lot of doors. You learn about history, culture, nature and more. For example, you learn how others do the same things you do in a different way, you see how others have the same struggles and challenges than you and how they overcome them. But also, you learn the opposite, how others think and live in a totally different way. These experiences teach you that your way of thinking and behaving is not the only one or the better one. I also find human kindness even in chaos no matter where I go. This gives me hope. From nature, what can I say? Forests, deserts, and animals teach us so many things. Nature has wisdom, survives, and adapts no matter what and doesn’t complain about it. All these encourages me to keep traveling, growing, learning and get richer.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love to take photos and videos of my travels. I like to inspire others to travel and have the same or better experiences. I want them to see how good it is to travel and grow. To get where I am today wasn’t easy. I wasn’t born with a camara. I first had to save money for my first camara and dedicate hours to learn how to use it and how to take good photos and videos. There’s a lot of try and error and time involved to finally have the knowledge and experience I have today. That’s the technical part. There are other challenges when you travel. One important lesson I have learned is that you must plan well your trip, but you must keep in mind that not always things go as you plan it. You can’t control nature and people. So, when things don’t go as you plan or expect, adapt, and flow. This is a hard lesson when you are a perfectionist, but it helps a lot. It helps you to enjoy more your travel and be a better traveler.

I want the world to know that I’m just a normal guy how loves to travel and share his experiences and that if I can do it, you can do it to. Is never late to start traveling the world!
