We had the good fortune of connecting with Grace Mia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Grace, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I know to keep going when I notice a sense of growth within myself whether that is after a photo shoot or a runway show. I feel a sense of greatness and motivation which keeps me going. When a new opportunity presents itself, I take it and run with it because I never know if I’ll get the same opportunity twice. When I am in the moment and having my pictures taken or strutting down the runway I just know that I am right where I am supposed to be- I was made to do exactly what I am doing.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am editorial model based in Phoenix, Arizona. My career started off about 2 and a half years ago. I fell in love with being in front of the camera and coming up with creative content shoot as well. Modeling has always been my dream and now that I am living it, I couldn’t be happier. Getting to where I am today was a slow ride. It started with photo shoots every couple of months to having a photo shoot every week! I am beyond happy to be in the position that I am as I have learned a lot along the way. These lessons being, to have faith and remain confident in myself, not depending on the opinion of others and being grateful for every single opportunity I receive to progress my career.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A few of my favorite restaurants are in Scottsdale! A perfect brunch place is Heart 61 in Mountain Shadows resort. it is perfect to sit poolside and enjoy a delicious brunch. There is also an amazing rooftop movie place at Scottsdale Fashion Square which is perfect for Arizona summer nights. For a variety of food, the Pemberton Phoenix is my ideal spot. It has many different food trucks, and drinks!
