Meet Haley Mosley | Virtual Assistant & Social Media Manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Haley Mosley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Haley, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My decision to start my own business was driven by a desire to find fulfilling work that aligned with my passions and strengths. After exploring various roles and industries, I realized that there was no perfect job or ideal boss. This realization, combined with my desire for financial freedom and the need to avoid clashing with superiors, motivated me to become a business owner.
Running a business has its challenges, but it sure beats the soul-sucking feeling of working for someone else’s dreams any day. As a business owner, I can now pursue my vision and make a meaningful impact, which is incredibly satisfying!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I feel like most people want to know what their purpose is in life. Why we are here, what we are meant to do, etc. Finding my purpose has already felt like a lifetime of trial and error. But now, through my business, I feel like I’m finally settling in to why I was put here on Earth. For starters, I know that my main mission is to love others and to love them well. Coupling this with my talents, it became clear to me that the best way I can love people is by supporting them in their business endeavors. It is almost impossible to begin your entrepreneurship journey alone. In fact, I believe the best entrepreneurs have an even better coach/mentor and support behind them.
My aim for specific business owners is to come alongside them, encourage them, and support their needs in order to avoid burnout and ENJOY their work again. To me, it’s not enough to just own a business. I want business owners to thrive, view their journey as an adventure, and chase after their dreams. My natural encouraging demeanor, go getter attitude, and desire to see others succeed is what sets me apart from everyone else. In my other careers I’ve been told so many times “No one CARES anymore like you do, Haley.” Meaning, no one is willing to put in the work, to strive for something better, to stand out, and help someone else. Our society is trending into a very self focused ideology and I refuse to be part of it.
Above all, I am most excited to continue making a name for myself, while helping whoever needs me in order to fall back in love with their business again. The greatest lesson I’ve learned so far: The one willing to serve others will become the greatest among them. The ones who “make it” are always genuinely looking out for someone else.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Indianapolis has really grown over the years and added some phenomenal food spots as well as music venues to support local artists. One of my go to favorite restaurants lately is Livery, a Latin American restaurant and not ONE thing on the menu disappoints. Afterward, we would go grab a nightcap and listen to some local jazz at the Jazz Kitchen in the Broad Ripple area. The hidden talent you’ll find here is incredible. If we were feeling brunch the next morning, we couldn’t pass up eating at the infamous Milktooth. Their signature coffee beverages and unique, inventive menu items are worth the wait. For an activity afterward, you can’t go wrong with Topgolf. This is an ever increasingly popular entertainment venue with a high-tech driving range and swanky lounge with drinks and games. There’s much more than “just golf” here!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
None of this would be possible without my savior Jesus. He is the one who gave me the dream, sustains my mission, and gives me purpose beyond myself. Without Him, I wouldn’t be doing this at all!
