We had the good fortune of connecting with Hell’s Savior and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hell’s, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I take risks in making music by experimenting with new styles and lyrics. Trying out different sounds and controversial topics captures attention and resonates with my fans. In my songs, I generally go for relatable subject matter, but I also tie in references and use wordplay to give the songs more personality.

Throughout my music career, I have ventured into various avenues of content. The risk of others’ opinions on my art has never really affected me. When I was younger, I struggled with being truly myself, but my music helps me express my feelings to the outside world

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is my catchy hooks and unique approach to music. Not only can I record in any genre, but I also handle editing, recording, mixing, mastering, promotion, performance, and anything else under the umbrella of an artist entirely on my own.

The countless trials and errors to reach where I am today have been ample reason to consider giving up. However, the code I stand and live by, “Zero Vengeance,” means seeking no revenge and improving oneself for inner peace, not for others’ approval.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Wareham, Ma

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my success to my family, my friends, and my idols. My mom came to America, risking her way of life, while my father sacrificed his time raising me, along with my twin brother and younger sister throughout my childhood.

Growing up, I immersed myself in gospel music and Cape Verdean music. My passion for melodic rap ignited at 14 when I first heard Juice WRLD. His emotional honesty, genre-blending versatility, and impressive freestyle talent deeply inspired me.

Another pivotal figure in my life was Virgil Abloh, whose brand Pyrex reshaped my perception of art and fashion. His work with “Off-White” continues to influence my personal style so much that I proudly wear his logo tattooed on my body.

Lastly, Chadwick Boseman left an indelible mark on me through his portrayal of Black Panther. He empowered me with a sense of community pride and renewed confidence.
