We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaden Greer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaden, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was trusting that it is what God wants me to do. Being so I really tried to focus and trust in what he was telling me and the path he had me on. My first design came from God just telling me to draw in my notebook before I had a big meeting to go to and I’m glad I stopped, listened, and drew that sketch in my notebook because I get so many compliments on my first collection to this day!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What I want people to know is that my brand isn’t just another cash grab. I genuinely just enjoy fashion and being unique. That can be seen through the clothes that I release. I want the world to know that my brand is about being bold in your faith and carrying/wearing your cross daily as directed in Luke 9:23. I want my brand to be the pioneer of the Christian streetwear industry but also provide value by giving back to others less fortunate. What honestly sets my brand apart is the uniqueness of each collection and the fact that it’s bigger than clothes. It’s about the reminder to carry your cross and that this brand is able to bless those who don’t have the same luxuries as us by giving back to mission work!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First I would take them to grab some grub at the best taco spot AZ Taco King!! Then after that I would take them fishing in the good o’l SRP canal. Then end the night in the Downtown Phoenix and enjoy the city life!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First I have to give credit to God for all that he’s done in my life and for my brand! But someone on Earth I really appreciate and have to give credit to is my friend Reese! Honestly when I had a lot of doubts she lifted my head back up, when I needed help with something she didn’t hesitate, and she’s one heck of a model! So big shoutout to her for helping me through my first brand drop!
