Meet Jefferson Green | CEO & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jefferson Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jefferson, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process developed for starting Blud Lubricants when my industrial lubricant customers that also were involved in racing requested a better product for their racing vehicles. My team and I started by creating formulas for the drag racing and dirt track sprint car competitions. People loved what we created. At the time I gave the products to those racers in return for letting me show off the results to prospects in my industrial business. Then 7 or 8 years ago several of my customers were insistent that our products blew away the competition in the racing world. It took a few. years of planning but I finally went live with Blud Lubricants in late 2017. It has been a phenomenal ride.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our technology, customer service and problem solving expertise are significant advantages in the lubricant business.
I grew up in a family business and learned how to create value and survive over the long term. It is not an easy process but one that very rewarding. One area that I realized I needed help in early in my career was the lack of financial acumen. I decided to correct this by going to work for a period of time in the financial industry. I had many great teachers while employed there and was able to put my entrepreneurial skills along with my financial training to good use. I started a number of new businesses and expanded the firm’s footprint during this period.
I think the most valuable lesson that I have learned is the your name is the most valuable asset of all. Ethics and integrity are critical.
The thing that I want to world to know about my companies are that we produce products that provide unparalleled performance and protection.
