We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Guerrero and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremy, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I view risk as the driver for success. As cliche as it is, without risk there really is no reward. I started Soaring Phoenix Services with only one goal in mind at the time, freedom. The risk of opening up a business is understanding the long term abilities within yourself. And for me the long term benefit of taking this risk is my freedom to create, do, and say whatever I want, when I want without the ramifications of those actions. I think the phrase “risk taking” has denounced a negative connotation in the world as a term for entrepreneurs to throw all over social media as a way to “inspire”, I disagree whole-heartedly. I think risk taking is about challenging your inner self to a life that is uncomfortable so that you may stand taller and understand your true potential. Risk is doing things your mind tries its hardest to avoid. Its about giving in when your body wants to give up. When I went full-time in my business, I knew that day, that it was all up to me. I tried and tried to perfect things in the business and in my life only to fall short every time. I overwhelmed myself with equating risk to thinking I needed to have it all figured out right now or my business would fail. I have learned to enjoy the journey rather than to stress over the uncertain. Risk has made me look forward to taking them, because without risk I would’ve never known how strong my abilities were.

What should our readers know about your business?
Soaring Phoenix Services is Phoenix, Arizonas locally owned and operated residential & commercial based window cleaning, pressure washing, and service based business. What sets us apart is our ability to cover a greater area of Phoenix as a small business, we cover all the way from Anthem, Arizona, down to Chandler, Arizona and everything in between on the East side, This allows us to get more referrals, produce a more professional and organized approach and increase customer satisfaction!

This was not easy by far, the challenges is what we have come to enjoy, The journey of curating, creating, and executing has been our favorite part. The hundreds of clients we have met has allowed us to build a reputable and trustworthy brand, its difficult in this day and age to allow someone into your home, and we recognize that, thats why we take many steps to making sure the client is comfortable, knowledgable, and certain in our abilities to get the job done inside and outside their home/business.

I would say the biggest lesson we have learned and advice i’d give to any young entrepreneur is, don’t perfect it. Make mistakes and learn along the way, 50 things will change in the first 90 days of business, and then another 50 things will change, and its just the cycle of uncertainty that takes a strong leader to really enjoy and figure out along the way. Nothing beats experience , and you can tell yourself you’re going to do it but thats only 1% of it, the other 99% is actually putting those words into play, and thats something that a lot of people can’t do.

I want the world to know that Soaring Phoenix Services is much more than a business, Soaring Phoenix Services is the embodiment of what it means to practice good business, We appreciate our customers more than anything because we know that not only are they putting their trust in us to do a good job, but they could have gone with anyone, and we appreciate their business and support 100% of the time. Our story isn’t finished and I am excited to grow this business into something Arizona customers can be proud of & inspired by

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorite spots is Magnum Electric Bikes in Old Town Scottsdale, I would first take them out on an unforgettable ebike ride throughout the city, then I would stop by and take them to lunch at Sushi Brokers. Then I would take them to the Dobson Ranch golf course driving range.

I would end the night dancing at Buffalo Chip in Cave Creek! I think Downtown Phx is really booming and has a lot to offer, the city is growing into a destination for entertainment, food, and sports!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My father Oscar Guerrero, he inspired me to start this business and to take the risks

My business partner and other owner Nick Eads, without him this business would not be where it is today!
