Meet Jordan Aubrey | Golf Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Aubrey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to start a golf page to show off all the beauty Arizona golf courses provide. My main intent was to share the golf experience in the desert, and draw people in to travel, and play a round in Arizona. Tucson , with over 30 golf courses, sometimes it doesn’t get the recognition that it deserves. With so many golf courses going in and out of business, it is important to show off high rates golf courses. I also wanted to show how fun of a game it is. We tend to only see good golfers shooting low scores, and making little mistake. I wanted to show that you can still have a good time even if you’re not the best golfer out there. I wanted to show how fun it is to golf, especially in Arizona.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started this golf page 5 years ago. At first , it was friends and family following me. I slowly started getting followers by posting videos of my golf swing , and golf courses. It was not easy at first, because I wasn’t sure what I was quite doing at first. I just knew I really loved golf, and I always thought Arizona had so many amazing golf courses , but never found any other golf page dedicated to Arizona golf courses. It wasn’t until this last year, I really started noticing more followers, and interactions with my posts. I am super excited for the future of my golf page with more creative posts and more golf courses being filmed.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The best spots in town would be downtown Tucson . Especially on 4th ave, there are a lot of food and drink spots . Some of my favorite food places to check out are Ermanos Bar and Bison Witches. Not far from downtown , there is one of my favorite resorts, Starr Pass. An incredible resort to stay with amazing views of the city, and desert. It is also one of my favorite golf courses in the city. There are many hiking trails in and around the resort, too.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out all of my fellow Arizona golfers who I play with on my golf page. I also want to shout out all the golfers out there who enjoy this amazing game we all enjoy and play.
