Hi Jose, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I opened redstacosmore with a thought process of getting my moms recipe and our culture out there for everyone to try and also to provide and help grow our community! I came from mexico as a baby raised in Tucson Az , my mother came in pursuit of the “American dream” she worked hard to provide for her 4 children and , its was initially her idea to make our birria into a food truck since she use to sell it around town to people she knew. She passed the recipe to me and we now are owners/ operator of a new food truck Redstacos.com! In tucson az we are greatful to say we BOOMED at our local neighborhood Bar Danny’s Baboquivari Lounge and have outgrown our truck and are looking to expand immediately

What should our readers know about your business?
Our food truck is more than just a place to grab lunch. It is a place to try out new dishes created by family recipe’s from local fresh ingredients. We bring great food to locations all over our city. Our birria is our main specialty a recipe’s from my mother it is what we are most proud of ! Bussniess-wise oh my it has not been easy at all, there have been many challenges seemingly endless but with determination the sky is the limit. They many why I have over come my challenges is to face the fact the mistake can and will happen along the way but the great thing about that is, you can learn grow and only come out better. A Few lessons I have learned is in order to be successful in bussniess you must be determined. Have value, quality and consistency it is key. Another lesson is no bussniess is easy. Always research first. I want everyone to know we are here to serve , and help grow our communities we look forward to serve you a piece of love from our family !

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A week would not be enough, our city is amazing and has so many wonderfully things to do, see, eat etc… I would begin with entertainment
Pinnacle peak is a old town theme park the pistoleros show is awesome great food and superb chocolates there .
Then you cab head to casinos del sol or diamond
Hiking skiing camping swimming etc at mountain lemon
We also have amazing bars like the iconic dannys baboquivari lounge !
Food places there is so many I wouldn’t know were to begin
