We had the good fortune of connecting with Josette KABA and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Josette, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my vision was to motivate and inspire. I know what I am capable of I understand my calling on this Earth was to do so. Motivating women so that when they look at me, a woman with a story; they know that they too can accomplish anything they set their mind to. Motivating women to look and feel their best beginning with themselves. I am a firm believer in, “When you look good, you feel good.” and I love nothing more than making others including myself, feel good. Being able to do that with my boutique and well as my makeup services, fulfills me on a daily basis. Nevertheless, I know that if I am ultimately doing this, I am inspiring others as well, and if I can inspire at least one person along this journey, that is enough for me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I think what sets me apart from others is the integrity I have and ultimately the person I am which motivates those around me as well as the honesty and open communication I always provide wether its a business question or general conversation,

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely have to say, I love four-wheeling in the desert, you can’t visit Arizona without visiting the desert. I also love Zipps, a fun sports bar that are known for their famous “Zipparitas”. I’d also go for a pool day, maybe visit the W in Scottsdale for a night or two and enjoy the rooftops views, pool, great vibes, food and drinks.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This may be abnormal for some, but I wanted to publicly give my shoutout to the man up above, God. I am beyond thankful for all that God has blessed not only myself but my family with. From understanding his word, you know that life will be just that, LIFE. It will throw ups and downs at you, it will throw you for loops you could never imagine, pain, heartbreak, sickness, you name it. Nevertheless, every time it does, I get on my knees and talk to God. I ask him for guidance, clarity on important decision I need to make etc. I m not perfect, I mess up frequently, but I always get up because of the faith I have in him and because of who he called me to be before I came out of my mothers womb. Without him, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Without him, I wouldn’t be blessed with the family and friends that I have that push and motivate me to be better and never give up when things get hard. He is the reasons for it all.
