Hi KAITLYN, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The inception of Love Random Life as a jewelry business was born out of necessity during my healing process from mold exposure, which rendered me unable to pursue traditional work. Confronted with the constant challenges of pain and discomfort, I turned to the therapeutic outlet of creating something I genuinely loved. This endeavor took root when I contemplated the limitations of wearing a pearl ring to work, exposed to potential damage from chemicals or scratches on surfaces. This contemplation became the driving force behind the birth of Revalia, the flagship design of Love Random Life. The journey of bringing this unique piece to life was anything but swift; it unfolded over years of unwavering dedication and meticulous development.
Love Random Life, as a company, traces its origins back to a simple yet profound saying, “I Love My Random Life,” encapsulating the joy in life’s unexpected moments. These experiences, often shared during my college days, sparked a passion for meeting people and a profound love for pearls and art, laying the foundation for Love Random Life.
The brand embodies a celebration of life’s unscripted beauty, underscoring my dedication to pearls and the pursuit of beauty in unpredictability—a philosophy deeply ingrained in my identity. These collective experiences were the driving force behind the creation of Revalia, a flagship jewelry design with a dual-sided feature. It boasts a heart-shaped mother of pearl inscribed with ‘Love Random Life’ on one side and a bezel-set mother of pearl on the other.

This unique design empowers wearers to transform Revalia into six distinct pieces effortlessly, symbolizing the seamless blend of timeless pearl allure and boundless artistic creativity.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Getting to where I am with Love Random Life has been a complete Rollercoaster journey. Battling personal health challenges added an extra layer of difficulty, but remarkably, each challenge became a stepping stone to growth. I consider myself fortunate to have friends with expertise in various areas, and I was always eager to seek help. Picking up the phone to seek advice or tapping into the knowledge of friends and local Community organizations became a regular practice. Amidst tough times, and there were many, I adopted the mindset that “No” is not a definitive answer. It simply meant that a particular person couldn’t assist, but I held firm in the belief that somewhere, someone would say “Yes.” This mindset allowed me to persevere through challenges and setbacks, creating Revalia.
One crucial lesson I’ve embraced is breaking down every goal into small, manageable steps. Even when it seemed like I had little to show for spending hours learning to execute a photoshoot or any other skill that came along in building up Love Random Life, Now, Reflecting as I go through this Interview, I realize every effort counts.
Love Random Life stands as a testament to the power of resilience and the beauty of embracing unpredictable, random moments in the journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

If someone were to visit Arizona for a week, Sedona would be a must-see destination. The red rocks are truly breathtaking, especially during the sunset. Walking around the charming shops or going on a little hike adds to the beauty of the experience. For dining, exploring the local restaurants in Arizona, so far, has been a delightful experience; I haven’t had a bad one yet. The nightlife in Arizona is enjoyable, and the locals are incredibly helpful. If you’ve never been to Arizona, I highly recommend it. Just hop in the car and drive around—the landscape is like something out of a movie set.
