Meet Kali Moldavon | Automotive Enthusiast, Influencer, & Supercar Therapy Coordinator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kali Moldavon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kali, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I wouldn’t say that this is necessarily a path I chose, but more so landed on. I started my brand with no idea it would become something of this capacity. It started as a fun and lighthearted hobby, but as they say- if you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life! This is something I truly enjoy doing- it has become my passion, hobby, and job all in one.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started with a completely different path laid out for me after graduating college. Ironically, I was heading towards a career in the public service/policy sector- focusing more on homeland security and international defense tactics. When I came home from overseas, I realized this wasn’t something I wanted anymore. I decided to spend time doing something that made me happy- one of my favorite memories is sharing a passion for cars with my dad and learning to appreciate them the way he does. That’s when I got my first car- the BMW M340. I decided to post it on instagram, under the name @g20grl- and it received a lot of positive attention from the start. I wanted to modify the car, so I reached out to some companies seeing if they needed a release vehicle to sponsor in exchange for content. I landed my first sponsor with only 700 followers. That’s when I realized this was a potential for a source of passive income. Today, I have worked with over 45+ automotive companies/brands, some of the biggest production teams in the country, publications, and more. I started this just only a few years ago, this is just the beginning.
This community I have become apart of has opened so many doors for me. From joining some of the biggest rallies in the country, getting corporate jobs from connections at events, helping build companies, to now running a non profit surrounded by the concept of “supercar therapy”. Its almost funny to even call it ‘work’. Now, I spend my time mainly on the Driven Project. It’s something that came into my life so quickly and smoothly that I often forget that its a “job”. This is by far the most rewarding work I have ever done. Its great, because I get to include these amazing brands I work with on my own personal brand, to now incorporating them in creating these magical days for kids who are facing the unimaginable.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Unclear which location so ill do both
AZ: sedona, the drive is so fun
I love visiting downtown phoenix, its the campus I was at for college so its fun to reminisce. Theres a place called berry divine that I visit, every single time in AZ. Of course Old town is a must-go, and the highline cars & coffee on Saturday mornings is almost ritual for me
there’s also this little sushi spot in DTPHX that has purple rice- I am obsessed
LA:
First place is Malibu- driving in the canyons, and along PCH- then stopping for an Acai bowl, of course
then Petersen Museum is a must
il pastaio, then go down rodeo
late night boba run as well, always
Nobu of course is such a good vibe too

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this interview and the success that has led me here to those who support me in whatever I do. Whether it’s my friends, family, or strangers. The life I live is all from the opportunities this path has presented me thanks to them. I would also like to take this chance to shout out the Driven Project. They have given me an incredible role to take over within the organization that is unlike anything I could have ever hoped for. No job has, or will ever be, as rewarding as giving children battling critical illnesses for the ride of their life and putting smiles on their faces.
