We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayla Cummings and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kayla, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Being supportive and giving love to everyone. Not having a governing body to dictate, mask, or detour progress or success of the business, my business. Not to impede, or disrupt one’s state of being. When starting my own business, I had the thought of people as top priority. Such as in regards to providing a platform where comfort, love, acceptance, and building of confidence is present. A business that not only accepts diversity but builds my business on a foundation of diversity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Career: Nurse The ability to relate and converse while offering solutions to people of all walks of life! in regards to just that! “Their over all lifestyles) I dealt with many struggles as a single parent of 2. Times I wouldn’t eat dinner just so that they could have food. Risking working late hours as a nurse and counting on my 6 year old child to heat up food in the microwave! I got to where I am professionally by the mighty grace of God and my own determination/will power to accept nothing better than the BEST! The BEST of everything! not just accepting! I want the world to know that they are beautiful and and the “Dolz & Queenz” Loves you! Lessons I have learned along the way is Patience!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Shopping, family picnics, travel, and entertainment Ex: live shows. We would travel, eat at my favorite place “Cheescake Factory!” We would check out amusement parks such as Disneys Sea World!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to: my daughter! Kudos to my daughter!!! She is my Rock! She listens, understands, and helps me make decisions on a daily basis. She makes herself available to me daily, hourly, and by the minute. She is the director of the “Dollz & Queenz” Talk Show. She keeps everyone on set and everything in order. She’s a very humble, soul. I love her indefinitely.
