Meet Keely Meta | Hypnotherapist, Mind Body Wellness Teacher, Mentor, Podcast Host, Yoga Instructor & Meditation Teacher

We had the good fortune of connecting with Keely Meta and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Keely, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factors behind my success is sincerity with my clients and rewiring their beliefs of self growth.
In a world where everything is easily sellable in discardable bite sized pieces, I work with my clients to rewire the belief systems that evolution and betterment of self isn’t just a subscription of Tony Robbin’s YouTube channel nor it isn’t a “failed” meditation practice. Growth is understanding the brain – your brain,
Triggering events, interactions, memories reinforce detrimental belief systems. In turn, the sympathetic nervous system (The part of your brain that wants to go to war with others, people please, exacerbate pain, or stay in a movement paralysis) eventually becomes the driver in your life takes over and overrides your body’s natural ability to rest or evolve. It is my mission to give my clients the present the tools and habits of the mind in order to work with it, not against it.
You’re a human, I’m a human. Now let’s get to work!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Through the lens of being a dark cloud of a human for most of my “coming of age” years, I decided that I would do as much digging as I could to confront my own personal traumas, false belief systems, and anxieties as I could.
Along the way, I found that through honesty, vulnerability, and daily practice, I was able to transform myself through only microscopic breakthroughs of growth. Fast forward a decade — mindfulness and health is interwoven into how I work, communicate, express myself, show up in my community, manage anxiety, decorate my home – how I exist.
In turn, I offer my clients the guidance and environment to explore the subconscious mind safely and develop the tools that are unique to their own growth journey. What’s more influential and powerful than that of our own mind? I would argue (strongly) not a whole lot else. Why wouldn’t we be utilizing the power of the subconscious mind and imagination for us rather than against us?
Through the encouragement to dive deep and the channels to do so, my clients find themselves excited to befriend the unknown and re-introduce inner navigation, intuition, self-embodiment, and the confidence to live in the unique light and action of their purpose boldly.
Allowing those I work with to break free from restricting belief systems, stagnancy, and trauma is truly the most valuable purpose I could possibly have, and I am elated every day I work with my clients.
The mind is a wild west of sorts, and I will happily be the cowboy. Yeehaw!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First stop, sunrise hike at Papago Park. The hike is a choose-your-own-adventure in terms of difficulty, plus there’s nothing like the golden hours of the day with deep saturation of the red rock. Breakfast at 32 SHEA. It’s such a vibe! I am astounded every time I go.
After breakfast, local vendor markets! I’m a sucker for meeting local artisans, and Phoenix markets never disappoint.
Afternoon time – Desert Botanical Garden is an obvious must see! This is crucial in the springtime when all of our desert foliage is blooming.
Heading over to the west side, I’d take my friend to Tangled Root Botanicals, a mystical apothecary and tea shop in Glendale to pick up natural healthcare supplies and books on herbalism.
While we’re at it, I would not miss Ribbons Tea House (can you tell I like tea?) to eat some of their hand created desserts and grab their Dragon Flower Tea with yuzu.
Lastly, I would pop over to The Foundry, a community driven yoga studio in Avondale for a zen night of yin, candlelight yoga, or meditation.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am culmination of the best people around me.
A huge shoutout to my husband, Sebastian, who has shown me the light at the end of the rainbow is creative safety. I adore you. Shoutout to my medicine woman, Rebecca Cutehands. You are such a beautiful human to exist on this planet with, and frankly I want to be you when I grow up. Shoutout to my mother, who always encouraged me to never erase my art, only to add to it. And final shoutout to Kandace Ledergerber, a phenomenally educated EMDR Therapist in the Phoenix area, and the amazing human who nominated me for Shoutout Arizona.
