Meet Kelsey Donovan Jones | Real Estate Agent

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelsey Donovan Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kelsey, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success? My people. My community. My network. My business partners. My family. Those who stand beside me are absolutely the most important factors behind my success. Real estate is largely a referral based business and I’m so grateful for everyone who speaks my name in a room full of opportunity. As an Arizona native, I am thankful to have a large network to provide my buyers with off-market opportunities, to connect my sellers directly with potential buyers and for all those who trust me to assist their friends and family with buying, selling and investing.
What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a real estate agent in Scottsdale and The Greater Phoenix Area. As an Arizona native, I bring extensive local knowledge to buyers, sellers and investors all over Arizona. I offer a concierge level of service and in the top 5% of real estate agents in the entire state. I’m so grateful to have been able to help, empower and educate so many about how to build wealth through real estate.
Excelling in my real estate career didn’t always come easily, but nothing good ever does. When starting my business, I worked 80-100 hour weeks every single week for nearly 2 years and went over 2 years without a day off. I spent countless hours expanding my knowledge to better serve my clients, discovering and creating my own personal brand and building connections. I’ve loved this career from the very beginning, which made the hefty task of putting in the work come easily.
As a perfectionist, I struggled to launch my business and various parts within it. A piece of advice consisting of just four words changed my business, altered my mindset and ended up being an immeasurably valuable lesson. Those four words were “grow as you go”. Just launch that website, post that educational reel and do the things necessary to start your business today.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love my home state of Arizona and there is nothing better than getting to show out of town visitors all it has to offer. For a day in Scottsdale, I’d start hiking Camelback Mountain at sunrise, followed by brunch at Arcadia Farms Cafe, window shop at the gorgeous art galleries and furniture stores in Old Town Scottsdale, then head to Cafe Monarch for an upscale dinner and end the evening at The Sugar Bowl for ice cream or Second Story Liquor Bar for after dinner drinks. I also believe that no trip to AZ is complete without seeing the gorgeous red rocks in Sedona, just an hour and a half North of Phoenix.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My lender partner, Branden Reeves, has been with me every step of the way during my career. His dedication to this industry, my clients and continuing education has helped me to develop my business and assist my clients in immeasurable ways.
