Meet Keshaun Clark | Photographer & U.S. Army

We had the good fortune of connecting with Keshaun Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Keshaun, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Everywhere we go on a daily consist of art. When I picked up a camera, I knew instantly it, my gift and how it would benefit to those around me. Art tells stories, from a family photoshoot to a campaign shoot for a business. It allows individuals to understand the purpose behind a still shot. In this world, everyone needs something to go back to and relive the memories that were taken. I’m blessed to be in the position to be able to do that for those who come my way.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Since 2019, I have been serving in the U.S. Army as a logistics specialist, defined as a 92A. I’m proud to be able to wear a uniform with so much history behind it. Most importantly, I’m excited to be able to run a business that I truly love all while serving. The military gives me many opportunities to grow as a person and business owner. I’m excited to be able to travel to different countries to see different scenery and culture and I can capture it all. I got where I am today professionally by going through this thing we call life. It’s not easy. I’m still learning and growing everyday. As I still face challenges here and there, I always keep my head held high and embrace it all. Lessons are teaching moments, but along the way I have learned that it’s okay to take step by step to get exactly where you want to be. You can’t cut corners, nothing will ever work they way you want it to. I want the world to know I’m here to receive everything I’m destined for. I will continue to do what I do best, that’s create amazing work every time I pick up my camera. I’m still writing my story so in due time, stay tuned. #SHOTBYKEE

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The one thing about Arizona is you can find almost everything you need in every city. There’s still places I still have yet to see. When I’m visiting, I love to have a good nights out at Westgate in Glendale, Arizona. There’s clubs with drinks and food, nice place for a Good Friday or Saturday night out. I truly love the authentic taco food trucks that are around town. You can never get enough of it, at least for myself. Tempe, Arizona is also a lovely place to visit and explore. It is near Arizona State University, so there’s plenty of bars, entertainment and food options. The one place I haven’t visited is the Grand Canyon and I’ve heard and seen nothing but good things. It’s always a pleasure to be home.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family and those who I have met during this journey. Thank you for supporting my vision and continuing to do so. From answering my questions when needed to supporting my business by booking sessions. I love you’ll to death. I will continue to do what God has placed on my lap. Let’s get it!
