We had the good fortune of connecting with Stella Abril and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stella, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
Conscious parenting has been THE most important thing we have done for our kids, hands down. We started with healing our own trauma and triggers and then really taking a moment to process through each event before reacting. We started teaching them how to identify and manage their own emotions and how to tap into their self-healing capabilities. We have given them tools to help calm their nervous systems and created an environment that was peaceful and full of love. We’ve empowered them by giving them the tools to interpret their experience in their body and make confident and conscious decisions. In turn, our children have learned to listen to themselves and direct their energy in a conscious way that has allowed them to settle into themselves and their authentic power.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have been in the conscious fashion/business industry for a the past few years. As of recently, I am transitioning into a space where I can mentor consciousness on another level. I am so excited to launch a program for spiritual (non-religious) parents and children where I can guide families through their healing and support the empowerment of our children through healing circles and teachings.
My journey has definitely not been linear. I found myself in the middle of conscious fashion and that transitioned to conscious business. 2021 was spent asking myself “how can I make a bigger impact”?
My brain thinks in terms of root cause, and so I found that it always leads back to mindset and healing. Conscious business, conscious fashion, sustainable lifestyle, all of that is the default when you tap into your soul and work from a place of consciousness. My next thought was figuring out where this would drive the most change. It starts with our children.
We (hubby and I), are planning on starting a healing container for parents and healing circles for children within quarter 1 of 2022.
We want to share what we’ve learned with others and empower our babies with some soul work!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh man! I have a ton of good stuff!

I’d definitely have them stay at the Hermosa Inn in Scottsdale! It’s the quintessential Southwest Boutique hotel.
We would have to check out a sound healing bath at the Churchill on the last Sunday of every month.
I would take them over to Fair Trade Cafe to soak up the art and positivity with a delicious chai tea.
We would visit downtown Mesa and check out Nash Vintage Collective for some vintage clothing, crystals and accessories.
We would head to the Giving Tree Cafe for a vegan lunch or two!
We’d have to check out a farmers market! There are so many to choose from. Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market and Momma’s Organic are some of my faves!
We would have to do a breathwork circle with Soul Naked Co one evening!
Take a drive up to Sedona to take a hike and get a little vortex healing in!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Samantha Harper is a sound healer here in Arizona. She has been more significant in our healing journey than she realizes. Danielle from The Moon Medicine has recently been so so impactful.
Eileen Rogers was my mentor and coach as I began my healing journey.
My husband, Richard Abril has been a HUGE support.
My AZSAA board members, Illiana, Madeline, Maja, Omni, Adriana, and Adrianna have been the absolute best at carrying the weight of our nonprofit!
