Meet Kiddo SaVagee | Country Music Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kiddo SaVagee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kiddo, why did you pursue a creative career?
Howdy y’all! The name’s Kiddo… Kiddo SaVagee. Since I was a little girl, I’ve always loved the sound of Country and being from Wisconsin only made my love stronger! From Brooks & Dunn to Luke Combs, country has a special place in my soul. It speaks volumes to myself and my 2 young boys. I chose an artistic career because it gives me the ability to turn these feelings/thoughts into something people will enjoy and can relate to. My style of country is relatively edgy and will for sure have you ready to get down. I’d love for y’all to give a good ol’ Wisconsin gal a listen and take a peek at what it’s like to be a Wisconsinite!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a little black girl, I was the oddball and a wild child. Everyone wanted Lamborghinis and Bugattis, but I wanted a Chevrolet Silverado covered in mud. My style of Country creates a visualization of edge, fearlessness, courage, honor, and heartbreak. All of these things combine to create Kiddo SaVagee: The Wisconsin Wildcard.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Best place to go for a good ol’ country feel is Buffalo Chip Saloon in Cave Creek. The folks that come to this place always make you feel welcome and make you feel like you can be your authentic country self. The BBQ is delicious and the music will have you spinning on the dance floor or in the dirt.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to take the time to dedicate this shout out to my sons, mom, dad, sisters and brothers for supporting me non-stop during my journey as a up-and-coming country music artist. I thank God endlessly for the talent and for giving me the courage to be who I am.
I thank Arizona Department of Corrections for the amazing experience I was given and some damn good Officers that have supported my music.
And last but not least, I’d like to thank the state of Wisconsin! Y’all are the reason I am the way I am and all of this I am doing to show recognition.
